St. John's, CanadaGreat location- few amenities
Left on 08/12/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Could hardly get a better view or location. Loft was very clean and comfortable, building was outstanding. Couldn't access parking and had to leave my car. ( was unablle to get in touch with manager for parking pass) There is no TV ( if that is important to you) no coffee maker and shortage of many standard kitchen utensils. However there are many good places to eat near-by and a convenience store right around the corner. Owner was great to deal with, prompt with keys and pleasant, Public transport is just outside, and many taxis at hotel nearby,

Thank You Rose, I'm grad you enjoyed the comfort of the loft and the ideal location. My apologies that you were not able to obtain a parking pass for your stay. As it is a condo building, visitor vehicles need to be registered in advance, which I can arrange upon request.
There is no TV, however there is a full wall projector which guest can use with their laptops to view films and or stream online content.
There are three types of 'analog coffee makers' in the kitchen: a French press (Bodum), a stove-top Italian espresso maker (Bialetti) and a Turkish coffee pot. There is also fantastic independant coffee house across the street called Thor. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. I'd be glad to add anything you felt was lacking for future guests.
All the best,
Juli -

LondonCool open-plan, loft-style apartment
Left on 07/29/2011 for a stay in July 2011
An efficient booking and check in experience, and the photos on Tripadvisor are accurate. The apartment is neat, clean, and very comfortable. It's essentially open plan, which means the sofa area and kitchen are one and the same, but it's big and spacious and so this is fine. They have a nice little balcony with a great view to the west. The apartment is in the loft style with exposed pipes and nice little details, and it's cleverly designed to maximise space - hard to describe but essentially the bathroom is in the middle, and the other rooms wrap around it. They have a video projector system and free wifi, so bring your laptop. The apartment is a few blocks southwest of the main Toronto action, and we found we used streetcars a lot (handy tip - buy day-passes for public transport at the newsagent just past the corner of Bathurst and nearby King St West, to the west). This newsagent, and the nearby Kitchen Market (a block further west) are the most convenient grocery stores. The only flaws with the apartment were that the bed is a bit narrow (though very comfortable), and the window blinds are not black-out so the huge wall of windows, which is otherwise delightful, does risk waking you at an early hour!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days , The apartment was ideal by the the the best apartment we have rented so far. It is situated in an excellent area for good food and independent shops. It was perfect way to chill out. the facilities for cooking are good with an outside Barbeque.

BostonToronto, what a wonderful city! The loft as advertised and more
Left on 09/24/2010 for a stay in August 2010
Clean, modern, spacious, WiFi, parking. The loft is nicely appointed, very comfortable, with wonderful views especially at night. The apartment is in an ideal location -- near restaurants, shopping, museums, local music clubs, theater, and film. The north-south trolley stops outside the apartment building and east-west trolley is a block away. We parked our car when we arrived and did not use it again until we left a week later. Thank you Juli and Mikkel for sharing your terrific loft with us. We enthusiastically recommend renting this loft if you are visiting Toronto.
