My husband & I just came back from a week in Toronto. This was my first visit & couldn't have picked a better place. Nicky met us at the condo & I made mention of the fact that there wasn't a hair dryer or a regular coffee maker (a french press was provided). The next day she left a note that both were waiting for us with the concierge. Whatever we needed she was more than happy to accommodate. My husband read one of her books and Nicky gave it to him to take home. The condo itself was modern & very comfortable and equipped with everything you need to cook complete meals if you wanted to with a major supermarket 3 blocks away & many smaller markets as well. However, it was also close to many restaurants and pubs. You can walk to just about all the major attractions but public transportation is close. The streetcars run often and link with the clean & safe subway system. It is in the city so if the music of the city bothers you than this may not be the place for you although you only need to close the balcony doors and you'd never know it was there. All in all, a great place and I would absolutely go back, hoping Nicky would welcome me. Thanks for your hospitality Nicky. You really made it feel like home. Cheers!!!

London, United KingdomAmazing apartment in a superb location!
Left on 08/23/2012 for a stay in August 2012
I travelled over summer to visit my boyfriend in Toronto and I was looking for a stylish apartment in an excellent area- Nicky's condo was just the answer.
I stayed at the condo for two weeks and I was very sad to leave. It felt just like home and I loved having the freedom to cook and explore the area. The apartment was full of stylish furniture and it was the best kitchen I have seen for a long time. It was definitely a luxury condo and it was lovely to experience coming from a student house back in England! The kitchen was full of appliances and I was so excited to try them out (sushi dishes, baking equipment, recipe books)!
I was really surprised to see a great range of Dvds, box-sets, poker kit, scrabble and lots of books- these kept me entertained when my boyfriend was away and when it was raining outside! The bathroom was lovely too and the shower was very soothing. I found the bedroom to be super comfortable and it stored all my clothes perfectly. I really liked spending time on the balcony and the view was really nice. Unfortunately we didn't get to try out the BBQ but hopefully others will!
The location was really great too. There are lots of restaurants and cafes around, all of which look very classy and stylish. The bars around the area were always busy and it's a great social scene. There is also a Starbucks a 5 minute walk away which was handy! There are great food shops too and very accessible from the apartment. I liked how you didn't really have to take the street cars as the location was superb to walk around.
Nicky is a lovely lady too and offered her help whenever needed. I am very thankful for her patience when booking and of course for her incredible condo! I would highly recommend the King West condo as it's great value in comparison to hotels and additional costs. The concierge was also a great feature which me feel safe when staying alone at night- and the gentleman was super friendly too!
If I do return back to Toronto I would definitely stay again! Thank you Nicky! :) -

What a fantastic apartment?! Nicky has a faultless sense of style, having created a stylishly comfortable, contemporary decor which embodies cool, industrial style. With its impressive lobby, the Philippe Starck building on Portland St is right amongst the action of this vibrant neighbourhood, with the location offering a host of cosmopolitan, cool cafes, bars & restaurants. With easy access to the Entertainment & Financial Districts via King West streetcars, this is the perfect, cost-effective place to say for business or pleasure, especially if you appreciate style & industrial design.

Malahide, Co. Dublin, IrelandOur 1st week in Toronto
Left on 09/25/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We needed an apartment close to where our son was living (Fleet & Bathurst) and found Nickys advertised. It suited us perfectly. It was 1o mins walk for our son. It is a beautiful apt, well equipped, furnished, clean and comfortable. It is well located in an upmarket area, well served by bars & restaurants. Beware local small grocery shops, they really know how to charge! It gets quite lively at weekends outside, but noise suppression is good. Only gripe was no radio or working TV service, but plenty of Dvd's and Cd's on hand. Nicky is lovely, friendly and very helpful, a delight to rent from and reasonably priced. We will be back if our son stays working in Toronto.
