Deep SouthBest Value in Toronto
Left on 01/11/2013 for a stay in December 2012
If you are looking for a truly spectacular value for a place to stay in Toronto, then you have found it, look no more. This eleventh floor condo has a view and amenities you would only dream of in a hotel and at a fraction of the price. This condo is nicely decorated, comfortable and has everything you will need for you family's stay. As a bonus, if you do have a car, the underground parking space is next to the elevator making it extremely easy and convenient. You can use the available municipal transportation that is literally next to the building if you want, or just walk to your destination for some exercise. It was December when we visited, so we used a rental car to get around, however you will need plenty of cash to park downtown if you do. Duane is always a call or email away if you need anything and seeks to help make your stay pleasant and comfortable. There is no higher recommendation I could provide than to suggest you consider this property for your next visit to Toronto.

This condo was the perfect place to stay!! Duane, who was ever-helpful and quick in answering any questions we had, greeted us at the condo and gave us a very thorough, personal tour of the building and the suite. The location couldn't be better: within a 10-minute walk you could be clubbing in the fashion/entertainment district in Toronto's heart, enjoying almost any type of food on King, or be taking a stroll along the shorelines of Lake Ontario. For larger distances, we just bought transit passes for the week and took the streetcars around. Conveniently, one stops right in front of the building every few minutes and runs 24 hours a day - fantastic!
With floor-to-ceiling windows, there's no shortage of natural light. The beds in the condo were comfortable and the washrooms large, bright, and extremely clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed fresh coffee and a big breakfast every morning while admiring the stunning view of the CN tower. On nights when we just wanted to relax with a big bowl of popcorn, Duane has a nice collection of movies available and a great TV to play them on. Music, too, is always accessible through the television, CD player (if you bring your own CDs), or the convenient iPod dock!
The building has a great gym, a pool, hot tub, and a sauna. There are even yoga classes available. The staff at the front desk were always helpful and all the other tenants we met were indeed very friendly. Last, don't forget to spend some time on the balcony! The CN tower/downtown core is on one side, and gorgeous Lake Ontario on the other. In the afternoons, you'll be able to see the setting sun, which made for some spectacular photos - and all from the comfort of your own home!
So in short, this is definitely a place worth staying in more than once. We had a great time and were actually sad to have to leave. The minute you walk in and drop your bags, it will feel like home - Thanks a million, Duane!!! -

Wow,no need to look any further!
We looked at several condos in the Downtown Toronto area for our winter vacation. This was by far the best condo, best location, best amenities and best price with a stunning view! It was all inclusive!
All the comforts of home, full kitchen with all the appliances, cookware, silverware, etc. Very comfortable beds in the bedrooms. 2 full bathrooms, one with a shower. Plenty of extra linens and towels with all the accessories like an iron and a hair blow dryer. A washer and dryer to do laundry with laundry products. The unit has free wireless internet access as well as plenty of DVD movies at your disposal. The unit comes with a parking space which is underground with easy elevator access to the condo unit for the comfort of those days of rain or snow. There is a very nice gym located on the 3rd floor with access to the pool, sauna, yoga room which we loved after a long day hanging out in the city. The building Concierge were very friendly and accommodating.
The location is perfect for access to the highways and downtown. You don't need a car once you arrive. The streetcar and bus stops to downtown are across the street or you can walk to downtown in about 10 minutes. For groceries, the Metro grocery store is less than 5 minutes (by car) to stock up on those snacks and drinks while relaxing at home.
Wait, I almost forgot the best amenity...Mr. Duane. Duane was by far one of the most gracious host we've encountered through home away vacation rentals! From the rental property inquiry to the moment we arrived at our condo, we couldn't have asked for a better host! He was in contact with us once we arrived In Toronto, making sure we didn't get lost from the airport to the condo. He greeted us at the condo and made you feel as if this condo was your condo. He was a phone call or text away if we needed him for suggestions or service.
If you are looking for a vacation and a home, stop looking! You have found the place and the host! -

Bethesda, MD, USAGreat Condo, Great Location!
Left on 11/30/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The condo was exactly as promised and all the reviews I read were very accurate. It was very clean, neat and contemporary. We loved the colors on the walls and all the furnishings and decor. The 11th floor was quiet and we had no issues with noisy neighbors. We were visiting friends in the Toronto area so the condo was the central meeting place for happy hour and dining. The kitchen island was really perfect for our gatherings. Costco was about a 15 min drive by car so if you are a member and have a car, it is a good option if you like to cook. Everyone really enjoyed the view of the CN tower especially at night-it was really spectacular as the photo shows. The place is well stocked with movies but we never had time to watch them. We took advantage of the wireless internet though and that worked out great. Parking in the garage was very convenient and being so close to the elevator was a big plus. The last time we stayed in Toronto we stayed in a very nice hotel with a suite but there is no comparison to staying in a beautiful condo like this one with a full kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. It is not only better but more economical as well.
Public transportation is very convenient and the streetcar and busses stop right across the street making it easy for our friends to come and go. We took public transportation to the downtown area and enjoyed Chinatown and Dundas Square. We went to the Distillery District one day and we highly recommend it. Duane was working a charity event for Easter Seals the week of our stay so we never had a chance to meet him unfortunately, however it tells you what kind of person he is-very kind and generous. We exchanged a lot of email and became good friends. Payment was by paypal which also was our preferred method of payment. I would definitely rent from Duane again as he was really great and an extraordinary person.

Bassano del Grappa, ITALYMy super business trip to Toronto!!!
Left on 11/26/2012 for a stay in November 2012
Once I booked my space at the Royal Winter Fair as an exhibitor, I had to plan a hotel stay for at least 12 nights for myself (coming from Italy) and a colleague. After a long search on the web for rates and hotel location, exhausted I typed "apartments in Toronto"... and there it was Duane's Condo!
Perfect, 5 minute walk from the Fairgrounds (Exhibition Place), new modern building, well equipped (kitchen appliances and washer/drier), underground garage, 5 minutes from downtown Toronto for shopping and dining!
It made my business trip so much easier, wake up at decent hours, breakfast, pack lunch (no need to eat Fair food all the time!), no rush hour to get to the Fair, no drama for parking, being able to choose whether to eat at home in the evening or go out , and at the end of the day (12hr 9am to 9pm are long) it was really like going home... not to a depressing hotel room, amazing!!!
And thank you Duane for getting back to me promptly with any question I had, I will definitely be in touch for my future business trips to Toronto and the 2013 Royal!

If you are thinking about staying here, if you are contemplating if its the right place to stay, the answer is yes! Trust me You will not regret it! The Keyword here is "Perfect"!
My Birthday weekend at Duane's Condo could not be anymore perfect than it was! From beginning to the end meeting Duane was a pleasure, he was professional yet personable, very informative, and genuine! I knew right off the bat I was gonna love this place! And of course his condo was absolutely amazing!
The location is top notch. Everything looks just like the pictures but better! It's very clean, the decor is simple but far from boring, the couches are comfy as ever if you feel like curling up and watching a movie, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal and then some! I was able to play my music on the Dock in the living room which was all too perfect for entertaining my guests.
The Ceiling to Floor Windows makes the view of the sunrise and sunset stunning to watch. Not to mention the view from the balcony: CN tower at night to the right and the city lights at night to the left; which my guests described as "inspiring" and "beautiful". The 2 rooms are cozy, the beds are comfy, the closet in the main bedroom is stocked with pillows, flannel sheets etc ... Trust me when I say I had no need for anything because I had everything I needed in the Condo plus more.
I felt like I was at home & I will definitely stay here again! The worst part of my stay was leaving; I really didn't want to leave the Condo lol that's how much I loved it. I would recommend it to anyone and can't really see myself renting from anyone else except Duane after this experience. I could go on and on about everything I loved in this place, and wish I could tell you everything but reading about it and experiencing it for yourself is two different things! No worries here you will not be disappointed I can't stress that enough. Thank you Duane for making my b-day Perfect!

My family of 4 recently stayed in Duane's condo during our 2 weeks trip to Toronto.
The condo is beautifully arranged and decorated, fully equipped with everything you may need in order to feel as if you're at home. Much better and cheaper than any hotel !!
The location is great. Within a walking distance from downtown Toronto and the waterfront and very convenient when driving in and out of the city (Eastbound, Westbound or Northbound).
The building is quite new, parking space is conveniently available, there's a pool and a gym (if you have the time). The view of the city, the CN tower and the lake are magnificent.
All-in-all, a huge part of the success of our trip is thanks to Duane, who arranged everything and made us feel very welcome.
Thanks Duane !! -

Chose this Condo after some research on the internet. Duane extremely helpful prior to our trip and good communication via email. He even booked our transport from and to the airport.
On arrival met by Duane who showed around the condo and other amenities including pool and gym area. Condo spotlessly clean and well equipped. Home from home and brilliant if out all day to come back and have a swim whilst hubby cooked meal!!
Good location and near to entertainment district where we were attending lots of films. Tiff was a wonderful experience. Walking distance for entertainment, eating out and shopping approx 15-20 minutes but also good tram service outside Condo. Taxis also available.
Walking distance to lovely Harbour area and Gardens 10-15 minutes.
We had a brilliant holiday made all the better by Duane's organisational help and staying in such lovely accommodation. -

Had a wonderful stay at Duane,s apartment in Toronto. Duane met us at his apartment and showed us around - the apartment building has many great amenities including swimming pool, gym, hot tub and barbecue area. The apartment was very well equipped and has everything needed for a great stay. The views from the apartment are amazing and the apartment itself was excellent. It is in a great location and within easy reach of downtown. The tram stop is outside the apartment, but we walked one day to the city center which only took us 20 minutes.
Duane was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him.
Thank you Duane for making our stay in Toronto memorable.

We really enjoyed our stay in this slick and sleek condo with its amazing views of the Toronto skyline. We spent a few happy hours watching the CN Tower light show from the balcony. The condo is handy for the lake and within easy reach of downtown with the trolley bus stop for Union Station just round the corner. My kids really loved the condo pool and the sun terrace with its view of the lake - great places to unwind after a busy day of sight-seeing. highly recommended and Duane was a great host.

My family and I just got back from an awesome stay in Toronto. My many thanks go out to Duane who graciously allowed us to lease his beautiful condo. He greeted us and delivered not only the keys but also a GPS system that was a life saver. The two bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and well taken care of. Both bathrooms were large and supplied with all the comforts of home. The one thing that was a surprise was the washer and dryer in the unit, what an added bonus. The view was spectacular from the balcony.
We were able to get food from a grocery store in the neighborhood and cooked the entire time frame minus a few evenings out to dinner. The Kitchen has all the supplies to cook, clean and entertain in. Also, the Kitchen Island with the bar stool made the kitchen area our meeting place for wine and food. The condo is walking distance to everything worth seeing in Toronto, like the CN Tower, the Water Front area, the best restaurants in Toronto and all the shopping malls inside and out. We also were able to drive to Niagara Falls which was simply stunning.
Again thanks to our gracious host Duane, you are indeed a gentleman.

My wife and I, and some friends, were lucky enough to have discovered this great condo on our recent trip to Toronto. The unit is in a great location, close to the downtown and has a street car stop on its doorstep. There is underground parking as well, which is a bonus. Plus it is walking distance to some pretty good shopping, restaurants, and night spots. The building is a newer one, and is well maintained and has a full time security desk at the entrance. The condo itself is very nice. The finishing is modern and it is much more attractive and comfortable than any hotel room. There's a decent collection of Dvds as well, for those nights where you just want to relax on the couch (although there is so much to do in Toronto, this might not happen). Overall, we couldn't have been happier with anything else. The condo was the perfect fit for us, and we will definitely be back next time we are in town.

From the first inquiry it was a pleasure to do business with Duane. He gave full attention to all questions, answered quickly, and provided the personal attention you don't get at most hotels.
His condo is super clean and filled with all the amenities you probably have at home, making it so much better than staying at a hotel. The beds were comfy, the kitchen has all the utensils and cooking supplies you'd need, nice tv, nice balcony with a view...
The streetcar picks you up at the corner and can take you anywhere in town. The condo complex was very quiet and people I saw were very friendly and professional.
We did not use the pool areas -- we were too busy checking out Toronto ;o).
I would definitely stay here again on my return to Toronto someday. When you are traveling, it's so nice to "come home" to a place where you can open the windows, make a bite to eat, and relax in a place that's more than just one inclusive room. The two bedrooms, two bathrooms are perfect.
Thanks Duane for providing accurate photos and descriptions - we were very pleased with our stay. -

New YorkGreat stay!
Left on 06/11/2012 for a stay in June 2012
I just completed a one week rental and am rating my experience 5 stars for the following reasons:
a) Location: It couldn't be better - in downtown Toronto, on the harbor front, with a TTC "street car" stop in front of the building (there are also free transfers between street cars and the TTC subway lines (just collect the free transfer coupon from the driver.) The CN Tower and the Rogers stadium is a short street car ride away or a 15 minute walk.
b) Ambience: The condo is a corner unit with a balcony and is located in a high rise building and has floor to ceiling glass windows allowing a lot of light inside. It also offers great views including that of the CN tower. The condo is relatively new, well furnished, and has a modern look to it.
c) Facilities: The sauna, swimming pool, hot tub, and gym are all very nice indeed. The pool is large and the water has just the perfect temperature making for a comfortable swim. The kitchen in the condo has everything one could possibly need, there is a washer and dryer in the apartment, and the included wireless internet access, TV, and DVD collection nicely round things out.
d) Service: I cannot speak highly enough of Duane, the owner. Right from the first time I contacted him, he has provided outstanding service. You can tell he cares deeply about the experience of his guests.
e) Better than hotel experience: Unlike a hotel, with this 2 bedroom condo, you get a kitchen and living room and a 4 pm check out is standard. Yet the rate is lower than if one were to book two separate hotel rooms. Further, the condo comes with a free parking spot inside the building.
f) Comfort level with internet booking: Duane accepts credit card payments via paypal, and to ease my concerns, showed the apartment to my relative in Toronto prior to my making the booking.
I have no hesitation in recommending this condo. If I visit Toronto and need a place to stay again, I wouldn't think twice of where to look! -

I was traveling to Toronto with my wife and brother for the long weekend and was looking for a place to stay that would feel more like home then a hotel room. We found this two bedroom, two bath condo and am so happy that I did. Duane coordinates everything for the rental and was absolutely amazing to work with. He made everything very easy and was very polite and professional. He also helped us with setting up reservations at a spa for massages, dinner reservations and recommendations for nightlife. It was like having a personal conceirage service and really added to our stay! The spa was Sant'Urbano Spa on Queen Street West. We coordinated everything with Selma and she was absolutely amazing! Our experience there was second to none and I would recommend Sant'Urbano Spa to anyone!!
On to the condo. It is on the 11th floor of a high rise building in the waterpark city area of Toronto. It was about a 15 minute walk to the Rogers Center and that area of the city. Overall a very convenient location. There is security at the front that can help call taxis if you need and there is also a parking spot for a car if you need.
The condo itself is very clean and way better then a hotel room. Everything in the condo is clean and modern. There is wifi included which is a major plus. The beds are very comfortable in both bedrooms. This is a much better deal then the hotels in the city. It has a kitchen as well so you can walk around the corner to get groceries and do some cooking for yourself. Overall this is a great place to stay, a great value, clean and modern and I highly recommend it. We were looking for a nice comfortable place for the three of us and this was perfect. I think this would be an excellent choice for a group of friends, two couples or a family.
Thanks again for everything Duane! -

I actually was not able to stay at this condo, through a mistake on one of the sites there was a double booking (Not Duane's fault). However, I must write about my experience with Duane as I have never experienced this level of service from anyone when I am purchasing their product, much less when I ended up not purchasing it! Duane went out of his way to help me find different accommodations. He also helped offer feedback on the different neighborhoods I was looking into. Once I had accommodations booked, he continued to serve by offering several nice places to eat in the area, with descriptions, addresses, links for reservations, etc. He even gave me his cell number so that I could reach out to him if there was anything I needed while in Toronto. All of this, knowing that I am not staying in his condo. He surpassed my expectations and I never even stayed in his condo. I can only imagine how great he would be if I were able to have stayed there. I highly recommend Duane and any of his properties. he is a man of integrity and unbelievable, unexpected, outstanding service. If he treats a lost customer this way, just imagine how he will treat you. Thank you Duane. As promised, if I am in Toronto again, I am booking with you early!

Our experience was great from beginning to end. The service and attention was superb only topped by the great location and condition of the condo. It's a modern comfortable unit with great views of what defines downtown Toronto; CN Tower, downtown highrises, CNE and Lakeshore. It's equipped with all amenities necessary to make one's stay comfortable just like home.
We would highly recommend this beautiful condo to anyone who is looking for a great downtown adventure and would appreciate detail oriented experiences...our little one really enjoyed walking to the Lakeshore to feed the birds and swimming in the indoor pool.

I was quite hesitant at first to go with renting the condo however Duane made the process painless. He answered any questions/doubts i had promptly via email.
The condo was exactly as described if not better. Its spacious, luxurious with hardwood, granite, and stainless steel everything. The view out to the Lake and C.N. tower are amazing. The 30+ Dvds half of which are blue ray were quite the surprise. (Watched Home alone 1 on DVD which didn't know existed!)
Beds were comfortable. Washrooms are clean and towels are abundant. Glassware was abundant which i found to be quite useful.
Over weekend stay saved over $100 in parking 2 cars for 2 days overnight and some visitors came over and parked on and off throughout the stay. The late 3 or 4pm checkout I cant remember exactly was amazing.
No doubt in my mind that anytime I stay in Toronto this will be my First choice stay. -

Travelling from the UK we were very apprehensive about what we were signing up to. Our concerns however, were completely unfounded as the accommodation was first class and situated a short bus ride from Toronto Centre.
The scene from our balcony window included a stunning view of the CN Tower.
Overall the accommodation was exceptionally clean and well furnished.
Public transport was economical and frequent; however, if you chose to go by taxi they were punctual and very economical. The local shops were situated a 15 min walk away and the whole experience was first class and we would return.
