A perfect location for people who want nearby amenities and the serenity of a safe neighbourhood on a quiet street away from the madness of downtown.

Private one bedroom basement apartment - renovated recently, very clean, with your own separate entrance.

THE HOUSE

Free two car parking, air conditioned, large backyard with a heated pool and an outdoor fireplace.

In-ground pool with deep and shallow ends, wireless internet, and over 300+ channel hi-definition satellite television with many premium movie channels, including HBO.

Located in the Upper Guild area, five minutes north of Lake Ontario. To the east we are... ten minutes from Rouge Beach trails and marsh.

To the west we are ten minutes from the Scarborough Bluffs shoreline and park. Naturalized walking trails and public picnic areas.

Ten minute walk to grocery shopping, liquor store, drug store, and a five minute walk away from the variety store.

Nearby restaurants include Pizza Nova , KFC, Swiss Chalet, Taco Bell, Greek, Chinese, 123 Wing Flavors and many dine-in restaurants.

We are minutes away from Tim Hortons and Starbucks!

PUBLIC TRANSIT

Five minute walk to the bus stop that brings you to the subway system. Go Train to Downtown Toronto is less than ten minutes away.

SECURITY

Your space is locked and private, you will be renting the only unit on the premises, so there are no other guests. You may leave your belongings where you like, the space is yours alone to enjoy.

SAFETY FEATURES

Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed.

Fire extinguisher on the kitchen counter.

First Aid Kit, band-aids, hydrogen peroxide spray and alcohol wipes are on the bathroom counter.

BIG FULLY FENCED BACKYARD

If you are travelling with your dog, this yard is perfect. Its large enough for a dog to run or play ball.

Please note that you will be sharing the yard with us and our pets.

There is always watering and work to be done in a yard this size, and we use the pool quite often in the afternoon.

Lounge beside the pool and get a tan. Have your morning coffee at the large patio table and enjoy the gardens.

B.B.Q. a fabulous feast and dine beside the pool.

Sit in the shade under the apple tree or check out the rock garden, side garden and the many herbs planted on the property.

PRIVATE IN GROUND POOL

Heated and open from May to September, weather permitting.

The pool is available to registered guests only.

Grab a noodle and float away the afternoon or help yourself to enjoying all of the water toys. Water scoop ball, splash football, pool frisbee or large floatie ball catch are all available, or grab a kick board and do some laps - they're all fun!

Or, make yourself a drink and sit on the ledge in the shallow end and just enjoy the cooling effects of the water.

NIGHT SWIM

Private night swimming, just ask and we will light the torches for your swim or the outdoor fireplace for you to roast marshmallows. Enjoy the backyard's night lighting, twinkle lights, floating disco lights, and mysterious colored orb lights - while floating under the stars.

* Pool is open until midnight.

FULL KITCHEN

Appliances: Fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker.

Two full sets of dishes and cutlery, glass for inside, and plastic ware for use in the backyard.

Cooking utensils, pots and pans, and serving trays and bowls are provided.

DIning room table seats four.

FREE

Coffee, tea, herbal teas, sugar, and organic brown sugar are all on the beverage tray.

Paper towels, salt and pepper, olive oil and non-stick cooking spray are beside the stove and/or on the counter.

Ketchup, mustard, mayo, relish, and soy sauce are in the fridge.

Ice is in the freezer.

LIVING ROOM

Free wireless internet, DVD player and hundreds of satellite channels including the premium movie channels and the football network.

BEDROOM

The bedroom is decorated to be a peaceful yet energizing place to recharge.

You will find our suite a peaceful oasis—perfect for a romantic getaway. You can slip into a luxurious Arabian style double bed, complete with cascading silky curtains and a large sassy mirror.

In colder weather, let fluffy fleece sheets hug away the stress of your day.

Large double closet and many shelves for storing your clothes wrinkle-free during your stay.

Iron and ironing board are in the closet.

BATHROOM

Forget about the closet sized bathrooms you’ll find elsewhere.

Ours is spacious and spotless. Giant shower stall that fits two easily. No tub, sorry.

Clean towels and hair dryer for guest use.

  Great spot to call home - even for just a few days

  We visited Canada for a quick getaway in December and were extremely pleased with the property. It is far from downtown - so you won't have all the craziness of that. The only negative is that you are far from downtown. We would've preferred something a bit closer. We took the "go" shuttle the first day into downtown and it took about 30 minutes. The station from the house was nearby - about a 5 minute drive time.
  
  The place itself had everything you would want - full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. It was comparable to renting a condo in that you have your own entrance/exit and parking space.
  
  Terri was awesome.. Told us about things nearby, etc. It took us a few days to get acclimated to the area. Just remember the attractions itself are about a 30 minute drive time (at least) away from the property, so plan accordingly.

  Canada Day adventure in Toronto

  We were lucky guests at Terri's Suite on Canada Day Weekend, the rooms were spotless, cozy and presented well. After unpacking, we did a quick inspection finding the sweet surprises of herbal tea's and coffee, loved the matching dishes and cutlery was so deliciously unique I asked Terri where to get my own! We had a great BBQ and drinks on the back deck, followed by a tour of Toronto and fantastic night of dancing and pool side drinks, in the classic pink flamingo glasses. The late night dip was romantic and elegant the lighting superb - Loved the disco lights in the pool!!! When arriving I didn't really take the time to go through the whole suite I was anxious to get out and about nothing prepared my husband and I for the castle like bed wrapped in royalty, we had an amazing sleep ... *wink* Will be going again and soon!!!
