The villa we stayed in was very modern and easily accomodated 2 adults and 2 kids. All appliances worked, all modern and generally cleaned well, lock up personal garage fits a SUV and some beach gear, comfortable lounges, dinner table, breakfast bar.
Although the villa was modern and generally well kept, there was a a fair bit of dust/spider web built up on the blinds, ceiling, walls, built in robes and some furniture that can easily be rectified with a thorough vacuum/dusting. If you wanted to open the doors and windows for fresh air, you would risk stirring up all the dust and webs.
Still, would consider it as a place to stay in the future as the location and adjoing facilities is very good and perfect base to explore the the adjoining coastal towns. Would only request a thorough dusting prior to checking in, and enjoy walking to the beach and cafe's and exploring The Great Ocean Road.Response from Retreats Victoria - 01/29/2013

A clean,quiet and comfortable property which the owner's are to be commended on.However, we were disappointed to find that our King/2single bed's together, had not the expected King size Doona but 2 single ones thrown on bed, in this day and age...not acceptable!!One other disappointment was no Dryer in Laundry, a necessity for winter guest's.We would stay at this property again and recommend it to other's if these points were taken on board."Thank You"for letting us share your property with you.

We had a great time, location is perfect - short walk to the beach & having full access of the pool facility is excellent for kids. Would definately stay again.

Accomodation was clean and comfortable.
Let down by: Instructions ask to wipe down tables etc, but no cleaning cloths to do so, nor were there any dishwashing tablets or powder to clean dishes. Not going away to do dishes by handwash.Council rubbish bins full and smelly.
Could have done no being woken up Sunday morning at 0800 by worker on another apartment with his sledge hammmer or nail gun, but thats not fault of apartment.
