The size of the accommodation was perfect for our party of 5 including 3 kids, and 2 adults. It was great to have one room with 2 x single beds, to save our two girls from having to share a double. The upstairs living area is very spacious, light and comfortable, especially the big "L-shaped" couch - perfect for chilling out with the newspaper or watching the tennis.
The apartment's outlook over the golf course was very picturesque and is also easily accessible to the pool and clubhouse.
The Sands Resort itself is a little way out from Torquay so we had to drive to the front beach and supermarket but we expected this and it wasn't a problem as there was ample parking.
We'll definitely return.

Very nice place, short drive to shops, nice grassed courtyard for little dog but with low fenced gate. Short walk to dog beach (excellent)! Would be happy to visit again.
