Star Delta is a luxury bungalow in the popular residential area of Chelston. Cockington Country Park, with its thatched village, tea rooms and craft workshops is just a five-minute walk away as are Walnut Road and Old Mill Road with their independent shops, cafés and olde worlde pubs. Torquay station and the seafront are about a 12 minute walk and Torquay centre is about 20 minutes.

Additional notes from owner
A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival. For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card. Credit card payments will incur a 2.95% service charge. Only Saturday to Saturday bookings (or Friday – Friday where stated) are accepted in July and August. Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated. A non-refundable booking fee is applicable to all bookings. All our properties are non-smoking, though smoking is permitted in outside areas. Pets are accepted for a small surcharge of £23.00 each.

Oxford, UKlovely holiday cottage in great location - bedrooms bit of a let
Left on 08/08/2011 for a stay in May 2011
I stayed here at the end of May of one week. The cottage is in an excellent location - really close to Cockington and also easy drive to beaches. The garden is fantastic and has a lovely tiled BBQ area and a grass area with trampoline and a climbing frame for kids. The decor is modern and has a bathroom and a shower room. The kitchen/dining/living room is open plan which worked well for us as we cooked in quite a lot. The cottage is decorated to a high standard. For us the only problem was the bedrooms. One of the main bedrooms had a very small ensuite with only a shower and a sink but no wardrobe at all. This mean't my mum had to live out of her suitcase. No need for the ensuite as the full bathroom and large wet room are right next door. Only other problem for us was storage space in the kitchen. It is a fantastic kitchen with large, Amercian style fridge. Problem for us was there was no cupboard space for our food. As we stayed self-catering we brought a lot of food but had to stack it on the window ledge!! These are only small things. We stay in lots of holiday cottages and this is in a lovely spot and we really enjoyed our week.
