We have TWO remodeled one bedroom apartments in Montemar, on the Costa Del Sol. These apartments are 5 miles or 15 minutes from Malaga Airport, 2 miles to Torremolinos, and a short walk to the Benalmadena Marina. The apartments are ideally located to explore the beautiful beaches and many theme parks and exciting activities available on the Costa Del Sol.

My husband and I stayed in apartment 55 in april. We were met by an agent and shown the apartment which was clean and very well presented. We had one issue the patio door would not lock, We contacted the agent and explained the situation which was dealt with quickly so no problems there (great service). We found the apartment to have all the home comforts and we loved the double bed which was comfortable. The beach is very close by and lots of bars and places to eat on your doorstep. When staying in this area you have to have a breakfast at the Fig & Olive, excellent and great value for money (turn right out of apartment and walk as far as you can it's on the very end). We shopped at Lidl which was only a short walk from the apartment and great value. Overall we had a great stay and will be back, thanks Darren!!

I enjoyed a week break with a girlfriend, looking for some relaxation and sunshine away from a busy homelife. I was not dissapointed! The apartment was home from home (with out the kids and hassle)clean and comfortable with everything you need, ( even the t.v has english channels, so you won't miss corrie). I loved the balcony, especially for the amazing sunrise and sunsets over the sea. There is also a lift, so no stuggling with shopping or bags. The apartment is in a perfect location, restuarants, bars, and shops right on your doorstep and yet its so peaceful and quiet. The beach a minute or so walk from the apartment. I recommend a massage on the beach on the plush, thick and comfy beds, looking out at the sea. The apartment also has a pool on the complex which we had to ourselves, it is very private and is surrounded by immaculate gardens. This all added to a well needed escape to paradise. We ate out a lot the meals were such good value for money.Theres lots to do if you not a sun worshipper, the dolphin boat trip is a must if you get chance. I loved walking along the beach promanade and marina people watching. We returned home, tanned, rested, a little fatter but all the better for our paradise visit. Loved it all so much am booking again for next year and bringing the husband.

- Very nice apartment with great view (top floor)
- Clean, quiet and secure complex
- Very well kept and cosy private pool area and a roof terrace
- Only a few minutes walk to the beach
- You find all you need at a very close distance (shops, restaurants, bars, internet cafe)
- Good bus and train connections to Málaga and along the coast
We liked best the view from the apartment, the closeness to the beach and the pool area. We would always choose this type of accomodation again instead of one of the huge apartment hotels. -

- This apartement was very central to all amenities (beach, supermarket, local restaurants & pubs, bus stop, taxis, etc)
- The property was very clean and well maintained. All mod cons.
- Fantastic pool & garden area.
- If I was very picky the only negative I could state would be that the bedroom area was not air-conditioned, albeit the main living area was fine. Our stay was in august, so it was very warm; this I imagine would not be an issue at all during most of the year.
- I would not hesitate booking a further stay in this apartment and would fully recommend it.

Had a fab stay. Apt close to everything eating/ drinking/ shopping. Will return here. Short walk to the marina in benelmadena. A walk in the other direction to towards la cariheula . I have walking / breathing difficulties and found this to an idle location.

If you want an apartment that is clean,secure with a beautiful pool area, this is the place to be.
It is right in the middle of shops,bars,restaurants and 2 mins from the beach.
The apartment is on the 7th floor it gets the sun in the morning and in the afternoon there was a lovely breeze.The apartment is very well equiped with everything you need.
We ate out every night and didnt get a bad meal in any of the restaurants, I have to recomend Kates kitchen turn right out of the apartment its just below Doyles Bar.
We are looking forward to another great holiday in your apartment Daren Thank You x

the apartment is very secure . There is apool at back which you have to have a key to gain entry .so its very private. The people that are residents were very friendly mostly spanish some ex pats . there are many bars restaurants and moost were reasonable priced . had agreat chilled out holiday.

I stayed at the apartment in august with my friend - we were really pleased with the fantastic location and lovely apartment. It's literally one minute walk to the beach and restaurants with a great view from the balcony.
Reasonably priced and Darren kep in contact with us to reasure us of the booking dates and promptly return our deposit.
Would definitely stay again - thanks! -

Well placed apartment for walking to the right Benalmadena and to the left Carihuela and on to Torremolinos - all on the flat. Apartment had everything required including UK tv channels. Lovely roof terrace to have your lunch. Even clothes ropes for hanging your sheets etc. Several eating places within 5 minutes walking distance. Supermarkets within 5 minutes walk including large Lidl.

I had a fabulous holiday - weather was excellent. This apartment is as good as a 5 star hotel- 5 minute walk to the supermarket and only 2 minute walk to the beach. I learned how to swim in this beautiful pool and surroundings. The gardens are well looked after and the pool is quiet. We spent a lot of time on the balcony over looking the sea. I went on a boat trip from the local marina to see the dolphins! There were hundreds of dolphins - so we went twice. The cable car trip up the local mountain isn't to be missed. They offer a falcon show where I held out my hand to feed them and the views from the top are fantastic. Went into local hotels in the evenings where there is lots of free entertainment and found a great restaurant called "The Spanish Gardens" - we went a few times there so I would recommend it. You are spoilt for choice as there are many eating places. We hired a car so we could get around to see lots of towns close by and the airport is very close by. So I would highly recommend this place to couples or families - because there are two apartments next door to one another.

This was our second stay at this apartment this year and we would certainly stay here again. It was very comfortable, containing everything you need as well as having a very convenient location (close to the beach and restaurants).

My wife & I had our first holiday away from our children here and had an awesome time. We arrived at Malaga airport and the pre arranged taxi service, booked through the apartment owners, met us and took us straight there.
The view from the apartment is magnificent. We looked out of the window and saw the amazing and almost deserted private pool, the sea was 2 minutes walk from the front door of the apartment block and we knew our holiday had begun!
We intend to go back anytime we can as we loved it. The apartment is well equipped if you want to eat in and there is a great supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Alternativley, there are lots of local restaurants where you can eat really cheaply.
We also did the Dolphin trip from Benalmedina harbour and saw lots of amazing dolphins. Torremelinos is a short walk along the beach, past lots of beach front cafes and shops. So whether you want a quiet escape or an activity filled holiday, this is a great place to do it!Response from Mr D Court - 10/18/2010

We stayed at Darrens apts and enjoyed our stay very much. We go to Benalmadena ? Montemar often " times year at least and have got to know where to eat and drink.
We will go again to Montemar and would strongly consider staying at Darrens again. -

A throughly enjoyable experience, apartment was fantastic, everything was in perfect condtion and of very high standard. The views from the apartment are amazing. Everything you need is close by, from restaurants, shops and the beach. The pool is inviting and was extremley quiet, we had it to ourselves most days. Everything was excellent, I am intending to take a return trip again this year.
