What Past Guests Are Saying
Refused to stay here and booked into a hotel.
We were offered this apartment as an 'upgrade' as 1 week before our holiday date the one we had reserved was unavailable due to 'issues'. When we saw this apartment we refused to stay there and checked into a hotel. It was dingy, dusty and dark. The spectacular views consisted of an array of television aerials on rooftops. The bathroom facilities were inadequate - our 14 year old daughter could not fit in the shower which had a window opening into it. The owners personal belongings are all over the place. It is situated on an unplesant street with a grubby take away next door. We are still waiting for our 196 euro deposit to be returned but Rent In Rome have not replied to our e-mails. They have now asked us to write a review!
Stunning apartment near Vatican, roof-top terrace
Cupola is a great penthouse apartment, very close to Cipro metro station. Its not as large as it looks on RentinRome's website, but the rooms are all very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the apartment is very well equipped (although a few of the piano keys don't work). It has a fabulous, huge terrace on which we had breakfast and dinner, there is air conditioning in the two double bedrooms (I think the apartment would get very hot mid-summer) and the very helpful owner lives on the floor below. Cipro is a convenient metro stop (only 1.50 euros to get anywhere in Rome) and there are loads of local shops nearby for morning pastries, coffee and ice-cream.
First time in rome
Italian family home
Great location very close to metro and in true italian area so food good price. Flat is an italian home with furniture which is very valued by the owner but not necessarily a choice for a holiday rental as much is old and in need of some love and care for holiday rental market although three bed property and lovely outside space would not recommend for family stay. Owner loves her home but is not necessarily a keen property renter takes cash deposit meets you on arrival and then checks property before departure and return of deposit defiantly feel you are being checked ! Property was sold on air con and dishwasher although only partial air con and no dishwasher. Would probably not stay again. Service of rent in rome was very good
Definitely do it again
The staff at Rent in Rome and the owner of the apartment were very kind and helpful during the whole booking process. They were more than helpful in answering all of my questions.
The apartment was very big and conveniently located across from the metro.
The only complaint I have is that it would have been nice to use credit card for the deposit and payment, since that is a lot of Euros to have to carry with you.

Week in Rome
Pros: Great location, superb view. Landlords hospitable. Loved the neighborhood. Quiet, beautiful terrace with plenty of seating. Third bedroom with computer and wi-fi. Very spacious dining room table with room for several people.
Cons: Had to climb one flight of marble stairs with suitcase. Small kitchen, not well equipped. Outdated furniture in living room. Uncomfortable bed in second bedroom.
Summary: Would stay there again and/or recommend. Does need some updating.
very good location in town
nearby is all you need: supermercato, centro...
in the apartment: big rooms
Great location and spacious appartment
The appartment is centrally located and it is possible to walk to most of the famost sights and attractions - the closest metro station is also close if you need to go further away. We stayed 5 people in the appartment - 2 in each bedroom and one in the lounge - and it did not feel crammed at all. We stayed there in the winter but had no problems heating the place so we could stay warm. The appartment is located in a smal narrow street so it can be a bit noicy if sleeping in the lounge or in the bedroom facing the street.
Great service from the people at the rental company who met us at the appartment at the day of arrival and who dropped off an internet connection the following day.
Welcoming and comfortable accommodation
If you need lots of space, want to walk everywhere in Rome, stay in a reasonably quiet street but still be just metres away from the Trevi Fountain, this is a great place to stay. No airs or graces but comfy beds and clean linen, a working kitchen (odd stuff in cupboards could do with a good cleaning out). We have two young kids and this was just right for us. Early morning walks to Trevi Fountain for a good play before anyone else was around was a trip highlight.
Excellent location, my second stay at this apartment
Terrific Trevi Fountain Bis
A minutes walk to Trevi Fountain. Fantastic central position in Rome. Washing machine in apartment, full kitchen, huge 2 bedroom apartment. Incredible value!Grocery shops around the corner. 40 Euro to the airport from Baberini Metro. We loved it!

Thank you!! Really happy we provide best solution possible for your stay. Hope to see you soon again in our apartments.
Great location, great apartment, great service
Apartment was exactly as described on the internet- spacious and comfortable. We were met at the apartment with 3 sets of keys as arranged - no problems. The location was ideal: a quiet side street 100 mtr stroll from the Trevi Fountain, 5 min walk to Barberini Metro, taxi rank, and supermarket, plus many restaurants to choose from. The apartment was advertised as having internet connection but this was not available on arrival - however one quick call to the agent and a wireless router was delivered the next day. The 2 beds were equivalent to king size firm but comfortable. We stayed 11 days and would suggest a radio/cd/dvd player be provided to add a bit of life to the apartment as being non-italian speakers the TV was not used. Perhaps add a few more euros to the rent and provide cable TV. More clearer instruction re rubbish disposal would be helpful and a sign above the powerpoint in the laundry warning not to turn off as this controls the water heater would be helpful. Unfortunately one of our party ironed some clothes on the Sat and did not realise that the powerpoint controlled the hot water - hence no hot water until Monday when the agent sent someone asap Monday morning to correct this. Otherwise there were no other issues. It was very comfortable for 4 adults and could easily accommodate another 2 adults or children - only draw back there is one bathroom. This would not stop us from renting this apartment again. We had a great stay.
I stayed in your apartments for three nights with my girlfriends when I went to Rome for my bachalorette party and overall we were very happy. The check in was chaotic and the land lord did not give us the agency contact number or could not provide us with certain answers and the two sofa beds were terrible, but location was amazing, it was clean and well equipped!
Good for large group
We had book this apartments togheter with the trevi fountain apartment for our group family of 14! The Location and is great, few walk from trevi fountain.
