Privately situated on four gated acres, this brand new 5000 square foot, Balinese-inspired villa with four bedrooms and four and a half baths, features stunning 180 degree ocean views, heated infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor gas fire pit, second floor gallery with wet bar and pool table, media room with large flat screen TV and surround sound, office with fax/pc/wireless internet, a fully equipped gym, air conditioning in all primary rooms and a private chef. <br /><br /> Traditional Indonesian sculptures, art and furnishings fill the public spaces and the villa is decorated with a refined, distinctly British-Colonial flair. All be...drooms are elegantly appointed with imported four poster beds, exotic fabrics and heavy black out draperies. Located on the east end of Tortola, Golden Pavilion Villa (GPV) is a 7 minute walk from secluded Little Bay Beach and a 15 minute drive to Road Town. <br /><br />Direct ocean access is available from the property for the adventuresome. The estate manager couple live in the adjacent guest cottage and will assure your privacy while providing for all of your needs. Airport greeting, baggage transfers, rental car facilitation and escort to the estate by the house managers will ease you arrival. Just 15 minutes from the airport, a long, winding dirt road leads you to a gated and secure entry. The driveway serpentines though the extensively landscaped property, down the hillside to the arrival courtyard. Complimentary arrival drinks and snacks will be served followed by an introductory tour. Golden Pavilion Villa is a unique property, unparalleled in Tortola. <br /><br />The villa presents Zen tranquility and privacy juxtaposed with modernity and meticulous details. Walking gardens, paths leading to sunken stone retreats and sitting areas nestled under mature plantings at cliff's edge. Tropical birds ride warm breezes up the cliff to sip from the infinity pool. Turtles, rays and the occasional whale can be seen from the deck. Breathtaking views complement the highest building standards with imported granites, marbles, fittings, appliances and furnishings; Golden Pavilion comforts the eye and soothes the soul.</p>

There is an additional Guest Cottage with Bedroom, Kitchen and Living Room available for rent with the main villa. It sleeps 2 people in the air conditioned bedroom and also has a pull out sofa in the non air-conditioned Living Room. The cottage is not for rent separately from the main Villa.<br /> <br />The cottage is fabulous with a wrap around balcony on three sides. It is on the upper level above the garage, laundry and gym. There is a fully equipped kitchen with top of the range fittings. There is air-conditioning in the bedroom but not in the living/kitchen space.<br /> <br />The living area as well as the well appointed kitchen has a sofa, beautiful table and chairs for eating (dining) and additional comfortable armchairs. There is a flat screen TV with Dish Network Satellite connection. There is a safe to keep valuable belongings and the cottage also has an alarm system.<br /> <br />The bedroom is very spacious and opens on to the balcony and has a fabulous King size four poster bed.There is an additional Guest Cottage with Bedroom, Kitchen and Living Room available for rent with the main villa. A 10% service charge, 7% tax, and $2500 security deposit need to be applied to the rates of Golden Pavilion</p>

As of January 1st 2012, we will be offering a different option for guests.

Currently Chef Services have been included for all bookings at Golden Pavilion.

This will continue to be the case but If prospective clients would prefer to book the villa without chef services, then this will now be an option. There will be a 10% reduction in the usual published rates.

  Our family loves to travel and we have been to some pretty amazing places but the Golden Pavillion tops them all! First, let me say that the pictures do not do it justice. Everywhere you look, any direction, you see so much beauty! Love the house, the grounds, the pool, the view...all of that, but what really makes it special are Kate and Tony, the managers of the house. You will find Kate in the kitchen making the most incredible food...breakfasts with home made pastries, to delicious lunch with homemade cookies, to the best dinners that I have had anywhere (and you don't even have to clean up!) Tony, the Captain, will take you to some of the most beautiful places and show you things that most wouldn't normally see. Both of them are such an added gift to such an fascinating place! I am still dreaming of Kate's meals and the boat trips with Tony. If you want the "vacation of a lifetime", I would suggest you go the Golden Pavillion Villa. Words just can't capture the beauty and wonder that you will find there.

  The best of everything!!

  We were fortunate enough to enjoy a family reunion vacation week at the GPV during March.
  Our six adults and five children were treated to the vacation of a life time. From the warm welcome at the airport to the stunning entrance of this very exclusive and private property we were treated like royalty. Kate's cooking was out of this world - something special at every
  meal. The infinity pool and private beach just a short hike away kept the kids and adults occupied - as did the media room and computer room. I have been to many BVI beaches and this private small beach on the north shore was a delight - shallow to 50 yards. We
  all agreed that this was without a doubt the very best of the best. Sunsets over the water, views to die for and the nicest people in the world taking care of us. Nothing better!!
