This is an attractive villa with a private pool and terraced gardens. There is a large terraced area around the pool where you will find sunbeds and a barbecue for al fresco dining,The villa is set on two floors. As you enter the hallway, you are on the upper floor. Here you will find the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom is spacious and well furnished. It has an ensuite bathroom and terrace overlooking the pool and terrace area and also the town and the beautiful bay of Tossa with its medieval castle. Tossa de Mar is a small fishing village where boats are still hauled up onto the beach to repair nets etc. Very popular with Spanish holidaymakers it has developed around the Old Town and its 3 beaches. There are no high rise buildings. Restaurants along the sea front and shops and bars in the pedestrian streets cater for all taste and budgets. Tossa is an ideal base from which to explore Catalonia, Barcelona with its Gaudi architecture and the Picasso museum are to be mentioned and not missed. With plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes, this is the perfect place to spend a holiday.
The nearest beach is just 10 mins walk away although there are 3 beaches in the town. From the beach, you can explore the quaint streets around the castle and old town. From the beach it is possible to board a boat which operates to other towns on the coast and also see the many beautiful coves and beaches in the area. There are many sports and water sports available on the beach.
Tossa de Mar is a small town and everything is only a short walk away.The town centre and beach area is only a 10 minute walk. Also the beautiful city of Barcelona is about a 1hr 30 min drive. This is a perfect starting point to explore Catalonia and enjoy some authentic Spanish culture. Girona is well worth a visit to see the cathedral and old city where you will find the Jewish quarter and many other places of interest.
The nearest airport is Girona just 30 mins away and Barcelona airport is about 1 hr 30 min away by car. There is a bus service which operates between the local towns and from Blanes there is train which operates to Barcelona at a cost of about 10 Euros return. This is a very relaxing journey along the coast into the centre of the city for sightseeing.
There are several golf courses within a 30 minute drive such as pitch and putt and the PGA Course in Catalunya near Girona.
