I have made 4 trips to Jamaica in my life. Two of these have been while staying at Blue Marlin. Blue Marlin is such a special place to relax and enjoy the sun and beach. It is off the beaten path and is very quiet and relaxing. We have traveled there with 3 children ages 2-6 and they love it. The sandy beach is very large. Ms. Sally and the other staff are wonderful. We are vegetarians and Ms. Sally takes care of all of our needs no problem.

Our group had a wonderful time at Blue Marlin and Coquina. This is where my daughter chose to have her wedding. The grounds were amazingly beautiful the week we were there. We brought down a large suitcase of decorations and had our wedding meal catered. Miss Sally, Marsha and Derry were just the best! Next time we would definitely have Miss Sally, Marsha and Derry do the cooking for us. Experience the Jamaican cuisine! They helped make our week run smooth and were ready to help us in so many different ways. Staying at the Blue Marlin just wouldn't be the same with them. I would recommend this location for those who desire a relaxed atmosphere who would like time to unwind from a busy life and want privacy. Hearing the waves come to shore was a great way to fall asleep. It was nice having the beach area, pretty much to ourselves. It is also a great place to host a celebration or event.

My wife, our two young kids (7 and 4), our friend and I had a truly wonderful, relaxing and restful week at Blue Marlin. The house and grounds are lovely, spacious and comfortable. Amazing location right on a beautiful beach in this remote fishing village. Everyone was friendly - no hassle at all, and we felt very safe and welcomed. The meals were delicious - not sure I can imagine our next vacation without a live-in cook! The house was spotless, the grounds immaculate, and the towels and beds always fresh and inviting. A bit too big and expensive for our party of 5, but we splurged and we're glad we did.

I would consider Ms. Sally to be a personal friend of mine after our stay at Blue Marlin, She is a wicked Scrabble player so watch out ! My family and I all appeciate how welcome we felt there.

The home was quiet, beautiful and very comfortable. When you woke up in the morning, Miss Sally would have opened the doors and the slight breeze and sunshine added to the walk to the kitchen. Coffee cup in hand, 50 steps to the beach (or so) and a swim in the morning. Wonderful. Relaxing.
This is NOT a resort. It's a home. With someone who lives there and helps make your week a memorable stay. You are in the real Jamaica, not at a resort. YUM. -

In six trips to jamaica I have stayed in treasure beach for all or part of those
trips all six times. Of those six trips three included stays at Blue Marlin.
Blue Marlin is a family built estate that sits you on a picturesque 3.5 acres
nestled into the base of Pedro's Bluff (the Diamond Head of Treasure Beach).
If you want beach this is the place to stay. The sandy beach is one of the
largest on the South Coast and because of it's location in the base bluff it
also has some of the calmest waters on the entire South Coast of Jamaica. I
have also noticed that the water temperature tends to be warmer in the
base of the bluff, then other areas in Treasure Beach, usually 5+ degrees
warmer.
The villa is situated in a more traditional guest house style and has a
wonderful ocean side elevated covered patio that is attached to the main
living dinning area. The whole feel of Blue Marlin is like being in your own
home and with access to WiFi you can also stay connected to the outside
world if you choose.
Meals are prepared by the famous Ms. Sally Parchment who's yam souffle,
rum cake and traditional Jamaican fare is legendary in Treasure Beach. The
rooms are simple and comfortable and there is ample collections of unique
reading material to thumb through while just sitting and listening to the
waves.
If you want to feel at "home" in Jamaica this is the property to stay at.

What a beautiful place. Everything went perfect Sally was great. We hope to be back next year.
The house was perfect getaway for those who like to get away. If beauty and relaxlation are what your looking for this is it.
