Description from the owner
Rainbow Point is a colorful and well-decorated villa on 1 3/4 seaside acres. We purchased it in 2003 and totally renovated it for use as a comfortable vacation villa.
There are three bedrooms, one a Master Suite, all with sea views, and air-conditioning (though it is rarely needed). Rainbow Point has high ceilings, overhead fans throughout, attractive furnishings and art, a good sound system, high-speed wireless internet access, and TV with DVD player (bring your own DVDs).
The huge covered veranda is well furnished with chaise lounges, a bar, and a table that seats six; it is a perfect place for eating meals and relaxing. There...Read more

VirginiaNormal Vacation Versus Rainbow Point Villa Vacation
Left on 05/08/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Consider your normal vacation:
*Exit airport, hail a cab or deal with Rental Car agency
*Arrive at hotel, wait in line for registration and room key
*Take (often full) elevator to find your room
*Deal with concierge and be handed a map to get around town
*Hurry to pool or beach early enough (before the crowd) to find a lounge chair or decent place on the beach
*Pack store bought lunch and drag along cooler or find crowded lunch spot hoping not to find sand left all over your towels or your lounge chairs taken upon return
*Pay for parking, pay for meals out plus tip (even if just so-so)
Now compare to a Rainbow Point Villa Vacation:
*your own driver escorting you right to your front door
*your very own cook, maid, concierge and friend all wrapped up in one person: Miss Loretta - she sings, smiles, and lets you have your privacy
*your private pool and beach area
*your own grounds keeper, fisherman, and boat driver named Raneel
*home cooked meals that are scrumptious, cooked to your preferences
*souvenirs brought right to your front door by local craftsmen
*plenty of relaxation, photo opportunities, beautiful wildlife, beautiful people
No more normal vacations for me -

We were three generations, that spent 9 days enjoying the loving kindness of our new friends at Rainbow Point and every stranger we met on the roads of Treasure Beach.
My husband and I have traveled to Jamaica for the past 18 years. We have stayed in an all-inclusive in Negril, various West End resorts, and rented guest houses in Little Bay and Port antonio.
We enjoy Jamaica for the abundance of natural blessings ~ weather, food, plant life, sea life, bird life, and people full of love. Each of the above locations share these, however, at Rainbow Point, you do not have to search these things out. They seem to greet you, (actually, prior to arrival, in telephone conversation with the owners) and follow you around, your whole stay!
We also had no concern for our safety, which is impressive anywhere, considering we were traveling with 65 year old Mom and 18 year old daughter.
If you are looking for a time away, to experience the simplicity/complexity of Gods beautiful handiwork, we strongly recommend this home compete with wonderful caretakers!
The Black River Tour and Pelican Bar great experiences. Sister Lou's a must!
Ys Falls beautiful but too touristy now ~ we also visited many years ago (spoiled!)
Massage Therapist ~ Joshua Stein will come to the villa and leave you with the most amazing massage you have ever received, peace and healing flow through his hands.
Miss Loretta, Aman, Raneil, Miss Medita, and Dane all took care of us as if we were family. Thank you for welcoming us. -

Rainbow Point is magical -- beautiful house, beautiful location, perfect atmosphere, wonderful care from Miss Loretta and Raniel. I've been to Treasure Beach many times and enjoyed every visit, but my week at Rainbow Point was like nothing I'd experienced before. I can't remember ever feeling so relaxed, so perfectly at home. Peter and Karen have created a peaceful haven. The photos can't do it justice.

The service at Rainbow Point is amazing. The staff there are the sweetest and most accommodating people that I have ever met.My husband and I went with two other couples and all six of us feel we got the best value for our money. At Rainbow point the view is spectacular from sunrise until sunset. The back patio and poolside is where we spent our days and ate our meals. The village of Treasure Beach is very safe and full of smiling, friendly faces. There are also several places to go eat dinner if wish or just hangout and listen to a band. Jack Sprat's is a must on your trip. You can go watch the beautiful sunset and have a Lobster Pizza. I have been to Jamaica a few times and every time I come back it's for the people and there is nothing like being on what we call Jamaica time!!!

My family of four including two young boys less than 5 had a great time. The location was lovely, a very quiet out of the way place in Jamaica. There were breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, access to a lovely small swimming beach and very courteous staff. We loved our stay!

Words can not express the wonderful time our party had at Rainbow Point. Absolute peace and serenity are the closest we can come to describing our experience. If you are looking to simply unwind look no further. There is absolutely no hustle and bustle, crowds or getting to the beach at 6am to get a lounge chair. While the area offers many wonderful sights to see, we spent our time snorkeling on the beach or simply relaxing and enjoying each others company.
The staff is absolutely fantastic, Miss Lorettas cooking is delicious, our caretaker Raniel was informative, pleasant and one heck of a dominoes player. Our last night there Raniel had prepared a bonfire for us on the beach which was a pleasant surprise and a fantastic way to end our stay. The Jamaican people we met were very friendly, and we fell in love with the 'Jamaican' view of life.
I can not believe the tens of thousands of dollars we have spent over the years on vacations that have not come close to recharging our batteries as Rainbow Point did. Within two days of our stay we were making plans to come back...as I write this only 51 weeks to go! We look forward to spending many more years as guests at Rainbow Point. -

absolute favorite.
Miss Loretta is a fantastic cook and we declared her a Saint and Ronny was
also amazing helping us with everything. Aman organized our excursions and
trips promptly and always right on the dot!
Cannot say enough good things! Beautiful country and beautiful people,

My husband and I just returned from 10 days in Treasure beach. 7 of these days we spent at Rainbow Point. We found this to be the most peaceful and relaxing trip. The view from the Point is unbeatable. There is a constant incredible breeze that makes you want to eat all your meals on the veranda.
Speaking of food, Ms. Loretta is a fabulous cook. The meals were wonderful - breakfast lunch and dinner.
The house is comforatble and perfect size for 1 or 2 couples. Ozzie is wonderful, taking care of all of our needs.
I would recommend Rainbow Point to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress-free vacation. -
