Description from the owner
Terrazas is perched on top of a cliff giving you some of the best views of the sea and coastline found in all of Treasure Beach. The villa is U-shaped with the pool and sun deck located right in the middle.
A large sitting area is connected to the air-conditioned master bedroom. Both rooms open out to the pool area.
The other two air conditioned bedrooms have sliding glass doors which take you out to the hall and then directly to the pool. These bedrooms share a bathroom. The large kitchen, dining, and living area is a great place to congregate and enjoy some great home cooked Jamaican food.
The verandah is the perfect shade...Read more

I stayed with a group of three, we all had a wonderful time. Debbian and Rebecca were amazing to work with when we started booking our vacation. They made it very easy and accommodating. They had everything from food to drinks and welcoming staff to greet us when we arrived. The house was amazing, the view of the ocean was second to none. Zeb was very helpful with booking taxis and boat rides to the pelican bar and a tour up the Black River. Tattyan cooked amazing meals and took good care of us, we got along so well with her.
We ended up with a medical accident, Rebecca was very understanding and very helpful.
Our 7 days staying at Terrazas was wonderful and many great memories were made. We all would recommend this as a place to spend your vacation.

My husband and I spent a week at Terrazas in February. Terrazas was larger than we expected, so it was quite large for two of us, but wow – what an absolutely beautiful view. We never got tired of that. Terrazas is situated up on a bluff so there was no need for air conditioning – always a nice breeze and that view – from the veranda, by the pool, in the hallway – you see it from everywhere! The pool is beautiful and kept very clean by Lorn and Zebb. I don’t know how the water stayed so cool – it was very refreshing to jump into on a warm afternoon. If you would rather jump in the sea – just down the stairs is a very nice beach with pretty good snorkeling too. Tattyann is a great cook – everything she made was fantastic (garlic lobster, curried goat, the best fried chicken we have ever had, callaloo omelets, callaloo fritters (with a wonderful sauce), coconut shrimp, brown stew fish, pepper steak). Lorn and Tattyann were fun to talk to and we really enjoyed their company. We rented bikes for a couple of days from Zebb – great area to ride around and explore and what nice bikes. Great spot to watch the nightly sunset too. Treasure Tours was very easy to deal with and Rebecca checked on us a few times to make sure we didn’t need anything. I have now been spoiled and hope to return to Terrazas again.

Terrazas is the first "Villa" any of us has ever stayed in! The photos on line did not do the place justice---it was large and just elegant. We four women work friends had wonderful days of sun and comfort! The house has high ceilings, large hallways, lots of sunlight, and a luxury pool to cool off in. Dinners on the porch, watching sunrises and sunsets from comfy loungechairs, chats with Tattyann and Lorenzo, bougainvillia---Jamaica is just a perfect break from winter.

Treasure Beach is one of our favourite local spots in our country Jamaica. Terazas Villa helps complete the experience. Peaceful, calm, relaxing, great beach, the sunsets and of course total fun is the reason why we will return. Plesant and accomodating staff, professional and courteous booking service, makes the whole vacation hassle free. I would highly recommend a visit again and again.

We stayed at Terrazas in March 2012 with friends. The staff were very welcoming and cooked really good food, the villa is extreemly spacious and clean and the pool is one of the best in treasure beach and is good for kids as it has a shallow and deep end . The location is private especially the pool and the staff get everything you need so no need for transport just relax and wander the beaches and enjoy the peace and privacy. Scooters can be hired through treasure tours if you do fancy exploring further.
We loved the staff soo much and cant wait to go back! -

We have been to Jamaica 5 times and to Treasure Beach 3 times. We much prefer this over a cruise. We love Jamaica because the flight is short for us, the beaches are beautiful, the people are friendly and love kids, it is safe, water is clean and everyone speaks English. We especially love Treasure Beach because it is a more rural, authentic Jamaican experience with a laid back lifestyle and friendly locals. No tourists, crowds or peddlers on the beach.
The best thing about Terrazas was the view and the pool. Tatyann was super nice and will cook anything you want. Fried chicken, lobster and spicy beef were our favorites. The sunsets were beautiful. The weather was great. Many nights we would lay by the pool and watch for shooting stars. There are lots of shells on the beach. The ocean water isn't good to swim in though because it is rocky. If you want to swim in the ocean you can take a short drive down to Jack Sprat's. The pizza is good, nice swimming area and they have wifi. They also deliver if you are in the mood for pizza at the house.
A few things to know: food is expensive in Jamaica so you may want to pack a bag just of snacks, cereal, etc. There are lizards around. They never bothered us, but you will see them around the house. They have biting ants so you'll want to make sure to put food away and clean up any crumbs from the floor to keep them out. The roads in Jamaica outside the city are bumpy so if you are prone to motion sickness you might want to take Dramamine before the ride to Treasure Beach. A few excursions to consider: Our favorite tour is the Black River boat tour and Pelican Bar. It is so much fun. Straight out of a travel magazine.
A few things I didn't like: no internet, but you can go to Jack Sprat's if you need to get on the internet. No TV. We brought our computer with movies on it for our 4 year old to watch because there really isn't reliable TV there. But, these things might be part of the appeal to you.
