Beautiful property at end of the road and nice boardwalk. Condo was the most well equipped we have ever seen and best price for a weeks stay compared to others. Close to several restaurants and bars and as long as you have a vehicle can get to the main shopping area - 107th St.

There wasn't any calls from the tenants about any of these, the last service that was requested was in March 2012. The owners of the unit are local and sometimes are in the unit, it hadn't been occupied for only two weeks. Usually there is only one dish soap packet provided, there is usually some in the unit as well.One phone call to this office could have solved any problems.

This will be the last time we rent this unit, floors were dirty, toilets had mold and the washing machine had a broken knob to name just a few issues. This is a great property but the owners of this unit clearly do not care about repeat buisiness - over the past few years the condition has declined. No wireless available, is another disappointment !

There were no calls from this person during their stay, when we contacted them to see if everything was ok in the unit they said everything was fine. This is advertised as having high speed internet available, not wireless.

Beach very private and quiet.
A delightful experience and I highly recommend Waterfront Vacation Rentals and this particular rental unit.
Only minor problem was the mini shower outside units 6 & 7 for cleaning sand from feet / shoes when returning from beach; the water supply was off on this unit Tues - Friday and had to use the next one between units 7 & 8. -

We have stayed at Land's end at least 4 or 5 times. This stay was different because we had noisy neighbors who stayed up late and got up early. We had never had that problem before.

Positives, the condo itself is very nice, great view, property group we rented through great. Negatives, the onsite condo management, not helpful or friendly, felt like we were not welcome. Elevator went out in storm and not fixed all week, had to lug groceries and luggage up and down the stairs, very inconvenient. Not busy, but we were there during a tropical depression, we kept our bikes in the same spot as our car, which is a violation that we were written up about- this was done because of the high winds, and caused no incovenience to any other renters but there is no flexibility. Watched the STAFF police pool and yell at children which was very uncomfortable ( we have no small children). Spent more time reprimanding the renters than fixing the elevator. I read reviews about the hot tub and children, and in general, this is not a place that welcomes renters and children, which is sad because the condo itself was very nice and can tell the owners put a lot into it for renters. During the storm the management group we rented through called to check on us, which was very nice.

Lands End has been advised of this review, this is not a property that has complaints like this. We have been representing this property for decades and have not heard this before this and one other review. Health department rules do prohibit ayone under the age of 14 in the jacuzzi.

We stayed here two consecutive years hoping that it would be improved the second time around. The grounds and exterior property of Land's End was quite nice however the condominium was lacking in several areas - notably:
1. Dishwasher did not clean properly (even the smallest loads)
2. Lint trap in dryer broken
3. Cutlery is showing much wear and tear (broken/chipped plates, mixed assortment of glasses)
4. No wireless internet (wireless use being widespread for 7+ years) despite internet access being provided (non-wireless)
5. Drawer broken in dresser in Master bedroom
6. General cleanliness upon arrival very poor (soap scum in washrooms, dirty fridge, doors etc.)
7. Coffee maker filthy
8. Lack of adequate cooking equipment (pots/frying pans)
9. Poor quality bed sheets
All these issues above could be remedied with $200-$300 at Target/Walmart but nonetheless do not make the condominium near worth the price tag to stay there. At rates 50% higher or more than equivalent units on St. Pete's, some standards should be held.
Will stay at Land's End again but not this condo. -

We have been coming to Lands End for over 20 years and have never had issues with the condition of the condo until now. Unit 6-203 was dirty and generally in need of some serious updating to say the least. When we stay at a premier location we expect things to be as clean & kept-up as our own house and that was certainly not the case during our stay last week. Your website says that the unit was recently updated and I for one would like to know exactly what was updated. Here is a list of problems that need to be addressed:
Overall condition is dirty.
Unit needs to be repainted.
Furniture in living area ripped and shoddy.
Windows and floors were filthy.
Throw rugs were filthy, we took it upon ourselves to wash them.
Balcony was dirty, with bird waste all over and the table top is rusty.
Overall, we were not satisfied at all and feel the rental fee was way high based on the condition of this unit. We have paid less at Lands End for much nicer units! -

We have stay other years and this is the first year that we have had to deal with plumbing issues and not being able to enter the condo because of an issue with the lock box. That aside Waterfront was once again wonderful about dealing with our issues. I would highly recommend them, they are the greatest!!

Words can not express how delighted we were with our stay at Lands End.Everything was in beautiful condition. The property and the condo we stayed in was like a magazine article (picture perfect) It exceeded all of our expectations. Waterfront vacation rentals was professional and curtious. Hopefully they will allow us to stay in the same condo for 2 weeks next year....Thank you for a vacation we will always remember.

Stayed 14 days in November 2011.
This condo is in a great location, right on the beach, and close to amenities.
There are things to like about this unit - new tile throughout and new paint; it is nicely staged, and the kitchen is well equipped.
However, there is a huge "ick" factor - the master bathroom. While there is new tile on the floor and on the tub surround, the original tub and taps from, we suppose, the 1980's, remain; the tub drain is clogged and barely empties; the tub has lost its finish and is stained and quite disgusting.

The place was very nice. Beautiful grounds, well-landscaped. Clean pool and hot tubs. Condo was clean and well-outfitted. (The Playstation 2 is broken and should be replaced. We had a small child who could have used it and we thought it was an option so we brought games for it.) Many great restaurants just a few minutes away. (Also mini-golf and fun center. Publix grocery nearby, too.) Overall; just lovely. We would do it again. The view each morning from the balcony was breath-taking. Picture it: Sitting on the balcony drinking a good cup of coffee and enjoying the beautiful sea as the day begins. THAT is paradise!

We bought a mop and bucket and cleaned the unit the day we arrived. The bath mats were old and dirty. We put them away for out stay. The light in the walk in closet was not working. The location was excellent and I would stay again. The owners should spend a few bucks on small items . We could not find a kettle to have a cup of tea. This is an excellent location.

This is our 6th year at Lands End and we look forward to it every year. The accommodations are great, it is peaceful, clean and exactly what we enjoy when we are on vacation. The view from the condo is breathtaking, especially the sunsets. This year was especially outstanding, we watched the manatees from the boardwalk and enjoyed the entertainment of the dolphins daily. We can't wait till next year to return !!!

We loved our stay and the maintenance person was outstanding! He really worked hard to fix the few things that were a problem when we arrived. The microwave was a problem and we didn't have it's use for a week - it would have been nice to have another machine while we waited for the company to order a part. The owner needs to think of this instead of just waiting for it to be fixed - we were only there for 2 weeks and found that no microwave was annoying.

The only thing that would have made our stay better might have been a later check out time, even 11am would have been perfect since we had a later flight. We have stayed at this complex a number of times and love the pool and beach access. We only had one key in the room (plus the one in the lock box), this was fine but it did indicate on our letter there would be two in the condo unit so we used the lock box key during the week. We liked that the condo had some beach supplies so we didn't have to worry about an umbrella or chair. We left the booster seat we bought in FL for our 16 month old at the condo and hope someone will get use out of it in future visits (too bulky to take home but a necessity with a little one). The coordination to get a rental crib was very helpful and made the trip easier with one less big item to travel with. Over all a great booking process and wonderful stay.

This is the 6th year at Lands End.Each year I enjoy our stay more. The facilities are spotless the area is less congested than other areas in Florida. I would highly recommend Lands End, however not to people who want to book the condo at the same time I want the condo. :)

The fan in the Master suite bathroom needs repair. We were afraid to us it for it would get get stuck and run and we were not able to turn it off by the switch. SO we did not use it. It should be looked at to avoid a fire. Sorry we forgot to mention it sooner. Dede Fredericks

It has been our 3rd straight year at Land End in Treasure Island and our family has enjoyed the place and city tremendously. Although we were disappointed with some of the local spots in John's Pass and around the beach area facing the recession and going out of business,we truly have enjoyed our stay in Lands End. We will be making a future visit back again some dy although our family will try Sarasota next year. I recommend Lands End and Treasure Island as an excellent family vacation place. There have been quite a number of friends that we have recommended through the past 3 years that have enjoyed their time there as well.
