We liked the north unit a lot but the a/c from the south unit is directly beneath the sundeck an makes a lot of noise. So the sundeck is not a good place for relaxing and dining.

Unit was clean but needs an update and could use a swimming pool.The beach was beautiful and not very crowded.The management team was helpful and courteous.For the people who said the owner who lives next door was helpful and knowledgeable of the area we didn't see him very much and when we did he didn't talk to us at all i guess we were the wrong kind of people he interacted and was more friendly with the people in the next unit than with us.Other that the stay at treasure island was great.The amendities and the beach were great also.Would stay there again.

The house was smaller but very clean and comfortable. Six adults was a bit crowded but manageable. The large, sandy private backyard was amazing. You could enjoy the sun and sand in complete privacy. A quick walk led to the beach. Even on the weekend it was not too crowded and convenient to be able to get back to the house so quickly. Would stay here again.

This vacation rental has a great location if you want a quiet beach. It has its own little private sandy backyard where you can just relax on the lounge chairs to catch some sun if you don't want to go down to the waterfront. It is located within walking distance of a couple of restaurants (within 6 blocks you have 4 or 5 choices) and there is a supermarket 5 blocks away as well.
It is a quaint little place and the owner of the house (who lives next door) actually explained the history of the house. It was actually a barn for the Cavalry, which is why it is shaped like it is.
Overall the rental was a great choice for my family and if we ever make a trip to Florida again we will be looking this place up! -

great location! great beach! was able to have all the family over for a bbq! Kitchen was good, some small utensils needed replacement, exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work, but all in all it was wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay in Treasure Island. The house was just the right size for 2 adults, 2 4 year olds and 1 dog. The kids and the dog loved that they could all go outside and play in the sand. We had the house to our selves for the best part of the week, the other side was occupied on Thursday night and we checked out on Sat. We would consider renting this house again if we have the grandkids with us again. It was directly on Gulf Blvd so the front of the house was a little noisy but the deck and yard in the back was wonderful and you forgot all about the noise. The neighbor on the north side of the house was very friendly and talked to us everyday and the kids enjoyed talking to his dog too!

The location is wonderful- hard to beat but the cottage itself was very dirty. We had to go out and buy cleaning supplies and clean for 2 hours! The walls had coffee/pop and blood stains on them, the fans and fake tree had an inch of dust on them and the kitchen was very dirty - washed all the dishes and cutlery (which was very cheap and limited). Not impressed at all with the furniture in side but there was lots of outside chairs to use. So if you will be spending most of your time outside and don't mind cleaning - it will work -

Both this side and the south side are scheduled for annual deep cleanings. Had we known there were cleaning issues we would have had housekeeping go back immediately. Unfortunately, renters move dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. between the 2 sides and don't return them to the correct side when done. Re-organization will be done with the deep cleaning. If additional items are needed they will be purchased. Have had no other compliants on the furniture.

Great location, perfect for 4 adults. Would be tight for 6. Only issue was a kitchen tile that broke on third step in upon entering but after that all was great. Plan on coming back next year. Definitely worth the price

Location is unbeatable. What you don't know is the owner lives right next door. Older fella with a lot of time on his hands, watches everything you do. The duplex is in dire need of upgrading. Window a/c on one side does not cool sufficiently. The other unit has a programmable a/c unit that is difficult to figure out. Water pressure is poor on upstairs showers. If you bring your pet be prepared to pay extra charges after you leave, for "excess" hair cleaning. Dogs are not allowed on beach where you are staying. Units are small, rooms are small. Fine if you're out all day/evening. Bad weather could make it difficult to keep a group comfortable or entertained inside. Could use large flat screen televisions,DVD player&movies;,books for rainy day/evening entertainment. Bathroom door not working properly on downstairs. Upstairs bathroom no door at all! There are many was to keep the heat out, efficient shades and window tinting on All windows would help. Overall, just ok for the price. Owner proximity too close for comfort.

My expectations for the property based on the pictures wasn't much. Once I entered the property I was very surprised how well the property condition was. Overall was satisfied with the unit, and more than anything wonderful location. I would definately rent this unit again as it was a great value.

It was our families 1st time renting a house instead of staying in a hotel and we couldnt have been more pleased! The rental process was easy and the people were great!!! The house is right on the beach and the sunsets were amazing! The back deck is very spacious and plenty of room for both families staying in the duplex! No need to bring anything, its all supplied! Beach chairs, grill, ect. We enjoyed our stay so much we moved to the North unit for an extra few days of paradise(a family was checking into our side the day of our orginial departure). It was no problem to add on and move to the other unit...the rental office was great about it! The South unit is more updated but both were great to us! We will definitly be coming back for another visit! We really have nothing bad to say, we had a great time! Perfect location..everything you need was right there! (grocery store, walgreens, food bars, shopping) Try Caddys on the Beach! Great food! A big thanks to the staff at Waterfront rentals!

This property is a perfect beach house if you're looking for a beach vacation with simplicity. We rented both sides of the duplex. The south unit provided more roomy bedrooms, while the north unit had a more updated kitchen and better living space. The best part of the house is the outdoor porch and powdery white sand in the backyard. Perfect for evening cookouts and sunsets.

The location of this condo is perfect,right on the beach but still private. Lovely sunsets. A nice patio with furniture that allowed us to have meals outside.The north unit however left us a little disappointed for the price we paid. Almost no closet space, very small bathrooms with no counter space, very limited cookware (had to buy wine glasses and baking dish, etc). Would not rent this unit again.

Rented teh place for my sons adn their coach to attend a regatta in St. Petersburg. It was the perfect relax time for htem after being on the water all day. Amazing sunsets and just the right kind of place to feel homey.

We loved the duplex on Treasure Island. The location was great and perfect for us and our children, who are 6 and 3. The immediate beach access out the back door was wonderful. It allowed us to get up in the morning and walk right out to the beach, head back in for a quick lunch, and then go right back out. When our youngest got tired, I could take him in the house for a nap, while my wife stayed on the beach with our older son. The upstairs bedroom was great for the kids and the layout of the duplex worked well. We were also close to John's Pass, which had several restaurants and other places to take the kids for fun. I would definitely rent the duplex again in the future, and would recommend it to others that were going to be in the area.

Front door backs on to a very busy street. Noisy all night. Bed was advertised as queen. It was not. Bring your own sheets and dishes. Very poorly stocked kitchen. No hood over stove so smoke alarm goes off when cooking. But it is on the beach.

A very good location described to sleep 6, but really only comfortable for 2-3. Beds to accommodate all, but no place to sit together to eat, not enough dishes for all (only 4 bowls), and insufficient cookware to make meals (absolutely nothing available for oven and only a very small and very large pots for stovetop). Need more towel bars to hang wet items for 6 people. I killed many cockroaches which was distressing.

Firstly, the rental agency was closed when we arrived to pick-up the keys. There were 2 other families that were really upset regarding obtaining their rental property keys also. I think that a better procedure can be established for picking up and dropping off the keys. Quoting that the packet is in the "Cat" mailbox is a little unprofessional.
Secondly, I think that the linens and comforters can be upgraded. They look a little shabby.
Lastly, I think the following can be supplied in the rental property: Detergent both for dishwasher and laundry purposes; a package of paper towels and 6-pack of toilet paper. -

We can't thank you enough for the wonderful time. The rental company was great as we moved from one side of the duplex to the other after 1 week,to stay an additional 5 days.The location was wonderful with a beautiful view of the sunset.This was by far the most relaxing time we have had on vaction.Anything we wanted to do or needed was a very short ride away.The only complaint we have is no dogs allowed on the beach.The dog beach at the state park 20 miles away sucked,to small.We couldn't be happier with the rental company or the property.The only reason not to go back to treasure island is the dog rules,not very pet friendly anywhere on this island.

The unit met our needs. However there were places where dust had accumulated over a long period of time such as in air vents and other places. The unit is being kept rented most of the time and it is not being cleaned sufficiently between renters. We were pleased that there were no animal odors or stains even though renters frequently bring their pets. We would possibly use the unit again if we were to return to that area.

We loved everything about this place. The location was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. It is a pet friendly property but there were no stains or pet odors. The only issue we had was that there were no linens for the pullout sofa. We had to go to Walmart and buy some sheets. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was spotless except for the floors. They appear clean but if you are barefoot your feet will be black. Not really complaining though because it was clean otherwise. Great use of the space. Great backyard area for the kids to play...like a big sandbox! I would definitely stay there again. :)
