Great house just across from the beach. Pet friendly house and area with nice people. Near the end if the island with a great boardwalk for those that like to walk. Clean, well appointed with a limited beach view. Area is residential with 2 bars within walking distance. Very quite and relaxing. The shelling was amazing.

Mississauga, ON, CanadaGreat Location.....just OK facility.
Left on 03/19/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Great location. Treasure Island and Sunset Beach are a terrific, eclectic was nice to be a little off the beaten path while still only 5 minutes from st. Petes beach. Neighbours are very welcoming...quiet at night which was partiers!
Access to the "tip only" cab service was an outstanding amenity offered by a local St. Petes Beach business. We used it often and they were outstanding. Great option when you want a beverage and want to leave the car parked!
Issue#1: Bunkbeds were shaky to the point where the kids did not feel comfortable sleeping in them. Given the bed configuration was a key decision factor given we were a party of seven..very disappointing to have kids sleeping on the floor. Even more disappointing was that the guestbook contained a comment on the bunkbeds dating back to 2011 and clearly the owners didn't react when told of the issue before.
Issue#2: When you use the downstairs shower, water leaks out the bottom of the house by the laundry area! So as I am trying to open the laundry door...water is leaking on me!!
Issue#3: No grill. We bought one and left it for the owner. Someone can thank us later! Other guests in the neighborhood who were renting had access to grills.
Great spot for family of four....if they fix the bunkbeds....6 will work comfortably.Response from Waterfront Vacation Rentals - 03/20/2013

Maintenance man could find no problem with the bunkbeds. Owner confirmed beds are very heavy and stable and the ladder is screwed to the frame. Current tenants said the beds were fine. A plumber is beings sent to address the leak which is occasionally dripping outside in the carport area. Owner is not too keen on having a grill. Perhaps a permanent fixture away from the house . . .. .

Montreal, QC, CanadaRelaxing vacation in Treasure Island
Left on 08/20/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We had wonderful vacation at this home in Treasure Island. We had to stay one more week in vacation in Florida because my mother was sick. We had to find quickly another place to stay. I wrote to the website asking about this home and I had a quick response and I was able to organize one more week vacation in Florida within 2 days notice. I was a bit affraid of what we would find at the new place since it was organize so fast. We all had a big surprize:the place was nicer than all the other place we have been before. It is very close to the beach, just a short 1 minute walk . Since you have the home for yourself, you can relax and do you what ever you want, nobody to disturb is in a quiet neighborhood. All neighbors have dogs: it is a pet friendly environment. The house was clean and everything inside was working well. They put a book explaining everything you need to know about the place and the neighberhood( phone numbers, internet access number,...). It is near the stores, John's Pass. We had a great time at this home and I would recommand this place to everybody.

Left on 04/11/2011 for a stay in March 2011
The house did sit back a little further than we anticipated, but we still had a beautiful view and we loved being close to the beach. We took our daughter and two grandchildren and this worked out much better than a hotel.

Try cleaning the carpets and spraying for bugs. The place is just rundown. The only thing we did like about this place was the location to the beach.

Tulsa, OKGreat stay! Perfect for vacation at the beach!
Left on 04/04/2011 for a stay in March 2011
This home was great! The decorations were cute, and the furnishings were updated. The house was obviously older, but everything has been kept up nicely. New bedding and a lot of the furnishings look new as well. The staff helped us with any problems we had. The tv was great- and sitting outside on the balcony gave a great view of the sunset! The balcony was small, but I didn't mind. The walk to the beach took less than a minute, which was great for running inside/back out. There were many places to sleep- pull out couches, queen(maybe full) size bed, two bunk beds- and even two trundle beds. The dishes and stove-ware were plentiful. The location is a quieter area, and the neighbors are really nice. The beach isn't too crowded at this spot either! There are some busier areas up North on the island, so we went up there when we wanted that kind of scene. (If you go- there is a Publix grocery store on the island. The binder in the house does not list it. It is two stories and you park in a parking garage. It is only a couple miles north from the house and very convenient!)
5 of my friends and I stayed there, and we all loved it! -

Gaithersburg, MDSunset Beach House
Left on 04/05/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Asked for early check-in could not get supposedly because maids were still cleaning. Upon arrival, house was very dirty and we had to call mgmt co. to send more maids to clean. Property is a bit run down. All bedding needs to be replaced. We could not find half of it because it was on top of dryer in the room beneath house. It wasn't until we went to do laundry that we found so-called blankets and comforters that were in definite need of replacement. The location however was perfect so if you are not planning on spending any time in the house-it would be ok. Also, the balcony you see in the photos is only about 3 feet wide by 8 feet long. I thought it would be at least wide enough for a small table. The 2 barstools that are on it pretty much take up the space. The bedrooms are extremely small also. For the money they charge for renting this property you can do a whole lot better.I will definitely be going somewhere else next year.

Racine, WICozy little house, great for families with or without kids!
Left on 11/05/2009 for a stay in November 2009
This house is in a a small cozy neighborhood and the beach is just a small distance away. The house was also cozy, clean and modern and I felt very safe and secure there on the nights I was there alone. The beach was beautiful and clean as well, with tons of sea shells for collecting. A beach restaurant is within easy walking distance (on the beach or street) and St. Pete Beach is a small town about three miles by car for grocery items and many more restaurants and shops. We loved the whole week!!
