La Chiesina is tucked away at the end of a private road and has superb
views down the valley to Tredozio.
The accommodation really is converted out of an old chapel and, while
tiny, is ideal for a couple.
It does share a pool with a villa which is next door - but the week we
stayed that (the villa not the pool) was empty (ideal!).
La Chiesina does have its own patio and barbecue and is in a fantastic
Tredozio has a couple of shops and restaurants which can provide just
about everything you need, but nearby Faenza is worth a visit and it's
within easy-ish reach of Bologna.
Be warned - Florence looks close on a map but is the other side of a
mountain and it takes hours of slow driving on small, winding roads to
All in all a great place for a couple looking for a romantic hideaway.
Response from Invitation to Tuscany Ltd - 06/11/2009
