We found The Boat to be an excellent base for our family holiday in Cornwall. It was really spacious for the 5 of us and we thought it was clean and homely. We especially loved the wood left for us to create some warm fires every night and a few Cornish gifts and flowers in the vases that were left on our arrival. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was comfortable, clean and as described on the website. The children loved their holiday home. Despite the awful weather we had a great holiday as there is plenty to see and do in the area - we made the most of the beaches when possible, and Falmouth Maritime Museum and the Eden project were good wet weather days out. The village has a good shop, great pub and even an art gallery. Only downside was parking facility, with two cars we had to park up in the village and bring down to load kids and pushchairs on a busy corner in the rain but that was a small difficulty!

The Boat cottage was excellent. The great reviews do not do it justice. The gardens , especially the rear garden were beautiful and used both morning and night. The smell of jasmine filled the air. Tregony town is very friendly and the pub , The Kings arms was excellent in all aspects, especially the food and the company.

We had a wonderful week at this delightful cottage which was spacious, well presented, very well equiped and spotlessley clean. It was nicely located in the village and within easy reach of many Cornish beauty spots. However we did find it a bit 'dodgy' pulling out of the drive onto the road because of the bend. The owner was charming and helpful in his communication and Sykes Cottages provided a professional and friendly service. Would certainly return.
