Affording sparkling water views from almost every room and totally tasteful functionality, this home can accommodate six people comfortably. Loon House is naturally conducive to nurturing your creativity since relaxing and entertaining here comes first. Fully connected with cell reception, wi-fi, and dock for your own IPad, IPod, IPhone. Skilled pianists and those wishing for entertainment by skilled pianists should definitely consider requesting a special arrangement and security deposit to enjoy Loon Ho...use's beloved Steinway Grand. Otherwise, the piano of off-limits to everyone.

Loon House has a circular driveway which makes parking easy along beautifully manicured grounds. Her interior design is modern, bright and inviting. Skylights and an awning create lighting that is at all times awesome. Beyond sliding glass doors from the living/dining room is a generous patio, a screen porch, plenty of furniture, natural landscaping, the ocean and private beaches where the water temperature is 10 degrees higher than salt water around Mount Desert Island. Swim, we have beach towels here for you. Put your kayaks in. Picnic by the sea after your bike ride. A deep water mooring is available in front of the house for an extra fee. You could even rent a slip from the Ellsworth Harbormaster.

For fresh seafood on the dock, "The Lobster Shack" is directly across the bay on Newbury Neck in Surry, 10 minutes by boat or 20 minutes by car.

Loon House has a two-car garage with an extra fridge and storage. Enter through the garage or via a separate walkway from outside in to a sunny mudroom and on inside this stunning home. On the right is Loon House's ideal, fully-equipped kitchen. Her dining area offers a large table and directly ahead through glass windows lies the ocean. To the right of the dining room is a large studio for relaxing or focusing on your business. Next to that is the master bedroom suite with a king bed and a full bathroom with shower and tub with jacuzzi jets. Down the hall from the dining/living room is another large study; a hallway closet that hides the washer and dryer, a guest bathroom with a shower, and two bedrooms--one with a queen bed and the other with a king bed.

Carpeted stairs lead to the lower level where there is a bright room with ping-pong and a love seat; a half bathroom; also on this level is an expansive family entertainment room with 50 inch TV and surround sound, couches and a pull-out queen sofa, plus a Body Lift exercise machine.

There are fans, a gas grill, picnic tables, heat, two double kayaks, many personal flotation devices, baby gate available.
