The Triberg Waterfalls, a series of short waterfalls in the Gutach River, are among the tallest waterfalls in Germany. With a total vertical drop of 496 feet, the falls stand over 1000 feet shorter than the tallest waterfall in Germany, the Roethbachfall. However, the Triberg Waterfalls are better known and access to them is easier.

  We were shown our accommodation and received a discount card for local attractions, the owners lived on the property and offered their opinions on local festivals and restaurants as well as shop opening times on arrival we were made to feel welcome to knock at their door for any enquiries during our stay.
  The property was in an amazing location in the Black Forest offering walks and easy access to Triberg.
  The property was split into three apartments and comfortably set out with enough space or us all.
  We also had an amazing view of the fireworks every night from the festivals below. Triberg was the nearest town and was beautiful and charming with lovely shops and restaurants.
  We also visited Switzerland only an hour away and a Christmas market in Friberg all within easy driving distances along with a glass factory.
  We would definitely visit this region again as we had a wonderfully relaxing holiday at a beautiful time of year.
