Decò Bed & Breakfast is an elegant accommodation located in Trieste close to city centre (50 mts from the train station, 70mts the covered parking area, the bus station, shuttle bus from airport).
You can feel at home in an elegant and friendly situation. The guests accommodation is made of two confortable-two or three beds-rooms.
Located in a 1901 building, B&B; Decò has trompe l' oeil decorations, antique prints, and furnitures collected by the owner in several years.

B&B; Decò is located into a 210 square meters flat, and the B&B; area of it is made of two rooms (from single to three beds) airy and confortable, approx 35 and 38 square meters, painted decorations on walls, elegant furnitures, king size beds.
European breakfast is served, the owner lives the structure. wireless free internet, books about Trieste and the region are includes and free access to home library.
Restaurant, market, pizza shops are all nearby. Simply leave your luggage and visit!

Deco B&B; is an ideal location for visiting Trieste. City Center is within walking distance. Plus close to the train/bus stations, you have total access to public transportation for both in/out of town sites. Located in a lovely 19th century building, our room is well-appointed and quiet. The private bathroom is large with a good shower and plenty of towels. The guest rooms are separate from the rest of the apartment affording privacy. But what made our stay so wonderful is the owner, Davide. He is most gracious in opening his home to guests and delightful to talk to. In addition he is an on-the-spot source of information on what to see and how how to get there.

Leider entsprach die Unterkunft bezüglich der vorhandenen Räumlichkeiten nicht der Beschreibung im Netz. Wir wollten eine Ferienwohnung mit zwei Zimmern. Die Zimmer werden aber nur einzeln vermietet und dann sind 70€ pro Doppelzimmer ein stolzer Preis, zumal man kein eigenes Bad hat und der Besitzer mit in der Wohnung wohnt. Als wir dieses nach langer Reise bei ankunft monierten blieb der Besitzer dabei, daß alles so richtig sei. Das war sehr schade, wir sind von der Buchung zurückgetreten und haben uns ein Hotel genommen. Besonders unschön war der anschließende Mailverkehr, in dem der Besitzer auf ziemlich üble Weise beleidigend wurde, indem er mir mangelnde Schulbildung und psychische Probleme vorwarf.

Davide was very helpful and professional. He provided Wi-Fi service but unfortunately it was not working due to a strike at the provider.
We were very close to Piazza Oberdan where the famous Opicina tram station is but once we arrived the tram was out of service since September.It is interesting that I checked time schedules but no mentioned of being out.I suppose that since they had bus service in place they felt it was OK.
You can walk to Piazza Unita D,Italia, it s only a kilometer or so.
The B$B is located off Viale Miramare next to the Main Train Station.For someone not driving to Trieste but taking the train t is ideal. -

I was looking for the place close to the bus/train station and this one is really very close to it, 5 min walk away. The flat is really comfortable, nicely decorated, room I slept in was huge, bathroom spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The owners, Katia and Mario were very kind and helpful. I already reccommended this place to some friends looking for the place to stay in Trieste.

Perfect location (just in the city center), great furniture (exactly like on the photos), very friendly hosted. The owner, Davide, was running the antique shop before and I think all the best pieces are in the BB Deco now ;) Free Wi-Fi working without any problems. My 10 years old daughter asked me after getting back home: Dad, why we always stay in the hotels if there are places like B&B; Decò...

just accidentaly we have got a tip in the tourist office in trieste on deco - it's perferctly located directly in front of the railway station, rooms are very spacious, beautiful furnished (do not expect any modern things - it's all just pure 'deco') and very cosy .. each room has a separate bathroom (or it seems like that .. :)) .. free wifi ..
and one special thing - the host speaks fluent english .. and I mean english, not typical 'italian inglis' .. great guy .. :)
overall nice stay in trieste and can recommend deco to anyone - especialy if you travel with partner -

Wonderful spacious rooms, furnished and decorated with antique furniture and accessoirs showing the definite taste of the host.
Sightseeing in Triest and surrounding is supported with art books, guide books and the wide knowledge of the host.

We found this beautiful b&b; on internet, an elegantly furnished house in the center of Trieste. The owner Davide, helped us to find a good restaurant near Trieste and made our stay relaxing and pleasant.
