Great, quiet getaway for two. This separate cottage near end of quiet street with Ocean Views from garden seating has a queen bed, a couch for relaxing, microwave, hotplate & coffee maker for cooking basics, and a small tv. Enjoy the yard, BBQ, and patio which includes outdoor seating with the same perfect ocean views. This house is in the lovely village of Trinidad and a short walk to wonderful restaurants and cafes, parks, art studio, museum, jewelery & clothing shops, a large market, fishing pier, wine tasting, and much more. Now with wifi too!

Nice location in Trinidad, close to everything, beach, lighthouse, resturants...
Kitchen had great items and we enjoyed using them.
The bed had a big dip in the middle; not comfortable for 7-day stay. Resulted in back-ache!
The love seat is old and not comfortable. We had to bring one of the plastic chairs from the yard inside to seat on.

Bathroom shower curtain does not prevent spillover of water onto floor. Plate behind shower valve handle has sharp edge exposed (potential hazard). Hot water not very hot. But still enjoyed our stay.

Will turn up the hot water (have to be careful to not have it too hot where someone good get burned) and work on the shower curtain and plate. Thank you for letting us know about those things. Upon initial inquiry was I told it had WiFi and Cable TV; it had neither internet reception or tv. Bedding was too old, with pills resembling sand, and not cozy. Bathroom rug was stained as was overnite towellette on soapdish. Manager was cordial and helpful with missing light. Shower was just BARELY hot! l and this was bad as the weather was frigid! Also, sink was stuck up--as I noted in book, it has been ongoing. This said, the cottage was pleasant and affordable, and in a great location; though I think a rebate should have been forthcoming due to the inconvenience and lack of WIfi and TV after confirmation of same. For me it was ok but could have been very annoying, and it WAS a bit of a hassle as i was i town for business. The rabbit ears spoke of old news. Overall, a nice place to be and thank you!

The property does not have an internet access which was a big deal for me. I was trying to select hiking trails and I had to go to find starbucks which were 10 miles away from Trinidad.

It says on our site that this property does not have internet access when you look at the amenities. I'm surprised that you had this expectation. Also, you did not need to drive 10 miles to starbucks. There is a coffee shop 1.5 blocks from the cottage that has free wifi, all you had to do was call us and we would have told you that.

The cabin is in a perfect location right near the ocean. It is simple, clean, quiet and quaintly decorated.I didnt use the small kitchen which has a microwave but no stove or oven. The bed was comfortable. I didnt stay in the cabin much but it is perfect for a short stay.

I came up for a few days alone, and I came home with memories and some new friends. What a fantastic place to get away to. The cottage was perfect for me (also good for a couple/romantic getaway), and the town is great. I recommend Katy's Smokehouse/Seafood shop for the best seafood and smoked fish I've ever had. Well worth the drive!

Quiet cottage with lovely view is really accurate! Very nice. Unfortunately,the cottage has a problem with moldy smell however which is very unpleasant. The shower has a violent spray which sucks the shower curtain into the shower and wets the floor, even with magnets, I had to put heavy shampoo bottles on the bottom of the curtain to prevent this. A door would be more appropriate. (shower size is good!) Cottage was clean, cooking utensils were greasy, didn't use them. Altogether, I was comfortable.

Maybe an overhead fan would get some air circulation going - cleaning crew needs to clean - even the forks in the drawer were dusty - we didn't feel comfortable making a cup of coffee in there - slept, showered and left as quickly as possible
