suites w/ full baths, [the 2nd suite even has it's own full kitchen]
plus 2 extra smaller bedrooms. Uniquely furnished w/ many artistic
touches and a long list of amenities; chef's kitchen, solarium dining
room, six person hot tub, deluxe gas grill & a magical blufftop yard w/
several view decks! Also, a private trail to the beach below w/ tidepools
& rocky outcroppings w/ it's own sealion colony.

We have stayed @ Abalone Cove on many occasions over the past 10 years. It is a beautiful home, with incredible views from every window; with everything available to make our stay comfortable and more. The home is surrounded by the beauty of the ocean and natural environs. Wandering through the yard is very peaceful. We believe the finest experience is being immersed in the hot tub while enveloped in the Northern Californian Pacific Ocean milieu. An added benefit is having the apartment associated with the house (also charming). It is possible to have guests while maintaining privacy. Patrick's Point State Park is within walking distance, and there are many fine hiking trails in the area. There is a private beach associated with the house. We always have a debate whether to eat in one of the local excellent dining establishments, or to enjoy cooking in the gourmet kitchen and eating in the exquisite ambiance of Abalone Cove. I always enjoying shopping in Arcata and Eureka. Arcata has one of the best Farmer's Markets we have ever been to. Any problems ( which have been few) are quickly resolved. Abalone Cove is a fantastic vacation home!
