No detail was forgotten in this beautiful home. From the heated floors to the quality hardware, you will not be disappointed. The best part of staying here is the unsurpassed views of the Trinidad coast from every part of the house. You will feel recharged after your visit!

      beautiful house and view BUT!!

Left on 12/01/2010 for a stay in November 2010

the heating system did not work properly(confirmed by a tech called by owner or?)and all were cold except on a couple of sunny days. The firepalce in the main room was disappointing with a very small flame viible. the hot water circulating system didnt exist or didnt work requiring several minutes to get hot water to the master bath. The need to haul trash several miles is inconvenient considering what we paid. operating the tvs is difficult even for an engineer.
these are items that should be corrected since overall the house met all our expectations and the family had a great Thanksgiving. It should be noted we have 2 granddaughters attending Humboldt State so we expect to visit the area again

Response from Redwood Coast Vacation Rentals - 04/11/2011

      Manager

I am glad that the house met your needs overall and it was a pleasure meeting you. We have since corrected the heating and hot water issue (it is radiant floor heating and the issues were related). We also realized someone had shut off the blower on the fireplace which is why it was not warming up the room like it should have. TV is slightly complicated but we now have very clear directions for it's use, and it can be used simply with the cable tv remote if someone does not want all of the bells and whistles.
