The first floor offers 2 bedrooms that share a full bathroom w/ shower. One of these beautifully appointed rooms has a Queen bed and a reading chair w/ ottoman. The other room is the master bedroom. This room can sleep up to a family of four with a Queen Tempurapedic bed plus two twin day beds. The master bedroom has a T.V. with cable. Rise to the stunning ocean views as this room is surrounded by windows and glass doors that open onto a deck that overlooks the spacious lawn and great tidepooling beach. Waking up to the ocean view every day more than made up for a few imperfections:
There were no screens on most of the windows, so lots of bugs flew in.
Blinds were missing in the guest bedroom so the couple we were with decided to "camp" in the dining room.
Maybe this is common there, but I found it odd that the floors were unfinished, painted plywood sub-flooring.

Beach House does have a unique blend of upscale decor combined with a relaxed beach type feel as in the brightly painted, plywood floor. In Humboldt County where the trees and fog affect the amount of sunlight exposure a lot of homeowners choose to keep windows uncovered to allow for more natural light . I read reviews, forever, to find the right place. The Beach House IS the right place!!! The reviews don't do it justice, let alone the photos. The house is amazing, as is the location to town, and PRIVACY! The ocean and the closeness to it AMAZING! We spent two weeks in Calif. The three days at Trinidad Beach House were the best!! Two adults in their 50s, a 28 year old and two 16 year old boys. Everyone LOVED it. The house is windows from floor to ceiling everywhere. No neighbors. The grocery store in town AWESOME. As you can see, I would give it a 10 if I could. There was no downside.

Will definitely rent this property again. Beautiful view, quiet location. Lots to do in the area...hike in State & National Parks, Kayak the cove, Charter fishing. Just an hour away we visited a vineyard. Could be just as content sitting on the deck listening to the ocean waves. Awesome place.

A great spot to enjoy the beautiful views of the Pacific Coast and Redwood country. Loved the house and location with one exception, the second bedroom is less than adequate. No closet, no dresser, no shelves, nothing to make the room feel cozy or welcoming. On the other hand, the master bedroom is fairly plush, makes the second room feel neglected and overlooked? Kids bedroom is pretty cute and cozy, kitchen and living area are fantastic.

Great Beach House

Tide pool beach. One hour drive to Crescent City 25 minutes to Eureka. great location. Had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend this property, will return in the future. Upstairs bedroom had bunk beds. Downstairs bedroom had queen bed. Master bedroom had queen bed, twin settee bed and a built in cabinet sleeper. So would easily sleep two couples and four kids.

We stayed at the beach house for a week . the view was incredible very close to the rocky beach the house needs a little updating but all in all it was fantastic we will be back. the managers responded quickly when we needed them.

Everything was beautiful and clean. The house is a very functional place for two families and kids. Its proximity to town is wonderful as well.

What can I say about the Beach House except that it was the perfect family vacation home. Literally steps to the beach, the kids could could walk and explore Trinidad's amazing coast life. Whether it was searching for crabs, sea stars or neat rocks, the
kids loved their secluded beach "playground." With amazing views, you never felt like you needed to leave the house. It was so much fun to hear the sea lions barking and other sounds of the harbor in the morning. The Beach House was secluded, yet close to

We had a great stay at the Beach House! Our only complaint was with the laundry facilities; they just weren't in good working condition and did not rinse the clothes fully. The house itself was peaceful, relaxing and had an awesome view.

We enjoyed our stay at The Beach House. The tide pools were really entertaining! My daughter is a vet and took every opportunity to rummage around with the kids at low tide, even in PJs & rain. The sea stars were amazing! On the last day we were surprised to find a baby white seal napping between the rocks. It played peek-a-boo with the kids. A problem with the laundry was solved, but we forgot to tell anyone that the lights in the bunk room did not work.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. However, toilets overflowed, the washer didn't work, mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers and one set of keys was missing. The property manager was aware the washer didn't work and it would have been nice if they had left us a note so we wouldn't have had to go find a laundromat in a different town with sopping wet clothes.

Excellent location and an enjoyable stay. A handful of lights were not working but not enough to cause any problems. The stairway carpet could use a bit of cleaning too. Outside of that, we really enjoyed the beach house and loved the deck and privacy. It has kind of a rustic feel, and interesting painted wood floors, but incredible views. We left a message for Reed at Trinidad that we would be late. He promptly returned our call and made sure we had the all the information we needed. This on Fathers day too! Impressive.

We had an amazing time at the beach house! It was exactly what we were looking for! The management was extremely helpful in helping us find this rental and we loved every minute of our stay. From the whale watching on the top deck to bbq-ing and relaxing - very amazing place and will definitely try and stay again! Thank you :)

We were very happy with the incredible views and location of the house. It had ample space for our large family, beautiful lighting and nice lay out for the space. Washing machine (clothes) did not work but other than that found the furnishings (kitchen, etc) typical for a rental property. Also, we loved Trinidad, the beaches and its central location to visiting different parks to hike in the redwoods.
