      Perfection.

We were fortunate to stay at the Casa de la Sirena again after missing it for 2 years. Its the only place we will ever stay when visiting Troncones. Stepping through the gate onto the property is like entering a different world, where the hosts have thought of everything to make our stay perfect. I mean everything - grocery shopping services, a cook, beautiful surroundings and accommodations, and the ocean steps away! The owners and the staff are top notch and they are a big part of why this vacaction rental is such a treat. Its perfect for large groups, and can still give everyone some space apart and together.

Everything you could ask for in a boutique hotel!

Left on 03/27/2013 for a stay in February 2013

This was our 2nd stay at Casa de la Sirena and once again we had another excellent holiday!

Mike and Debbie (the owners) are fabulous folks and go out of their way to make your holiday a great experience. Humberto is the manager who lives on-site and is the go-to guy for anything. He's a lovely person! The rest of the crew - Jose, Maria & Victoria are also wonderful.

The first year we stayed in the bungalows, as all the villas were booked. This year we managed to swing a mini villa and all I can say is wow! They are gorgeous. Nothing wrong with the bungalows either, but the mini villas are just a step-up. I love the outdoor kitchens and living areas - when I go away I don't want to be indoors, so to me this is how you should live in Mexico.

A lovely pool with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs await you, and the beautiful beach and ocean are just a step out the front gate.

Casa de la Sirena is very central in the small town of Troncones so you can walk to most bars/restaurants and small shops. If you'd like to go a bit farther afield the taxis at Costa Brava are close-by and offer great service.

We've stayed at many boutique hotels and have found that some of them get a bit "crowded" when at full capacity - not so with Casa de la Sirena. Even when fully booked, you still have privacy as there are spacious grounds with many options available to relax and enjoy your day.

We've met some great people staying here both last year and this year and wouldn't hesitate to return!

Amazing property, hosts, beach and Mexican village

Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013

We love the charm of Troncones, a true Mexican village. What makes it even better is Casa de la Sirena! We stay in the mini-villas and enjoy the spacious accomodations, pool and the beach. The mini villa has a full kitchen, which we do not use as we love eating in the local restaurants a short walk into town. Debbie, Mike and the staff take care of any need [stock the frig with beer & wine} prior to arrival and we just relax and soak in the sun and beach.

I want to shout from the rooftop, " Go to Troncones and stay at Casa de la Sirena!"
We had a perfect stay from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautiful and were in full tropical bloom, the bungalows and mini villas, are comfortable and with everything you will need while you are there. And the views! The caretaker is on the grounds, so if you do need anything, extra glasses, dinner reservations.. he can help you. If you're lucky enough to be there when Debbie and Mike, the owners are staying, they couldn't be more helpful. Sirena is in a perfect location on the 3 mile beach, about halfway, so easy to walk to dinner, catch a local bus, the mini store, walk on the beach. Close enough, but not so far away it's hard to get any where. Did I mention how peaceful the grounds are and the sparkling pool that is so nice to have for the post ocean swim or mid afternoon dip? And your own palapas right on the beach. Ahhh. Heaven. We have our reservations already for next year. Thank-you Debbie and Mike for creating this jewel in Troncones.

My husband and I just spent our 8th wonderful visit to Casa de la
Sirena and the village of Troncones. Each year we extend our stay a little longer. We love getting reacquainted with Maria, Victoria, Humberto and Jose who are there to meet your every need. They also do an excellent job of cleaning and maintaining the villas, lush gardens and pools. Whether you choose to eat at one of the great local restaurants, have a meal delivered in or grill fresh fish and veggies available almost daily you can't go wrong. Casa de la Sirena is a perfect place to have a relaxing vacation while listening to the waves as you sit on the beach, watching the many species of birds and other wildlife and meeting and making new friends.

      A Little Piece of Paradise

Left on 03/10/2013 for a stay in February 2013

We just spent three fantastic weeks at Casa de La Sirena. This was our 5th year staying at the "House of the Mermaid" and we've already made reservations for next year!

Over the years, we have stayed in the both mini-villas and the private villa. Each mini-villa has an open air kitchen with dining area and a fully screened bedroom and bathroom. The mini-villas share a large pool with bar and grill area.

The private villa has one bedroom upstairs with a shared kitchen and dining area. There are two additional private bedrooms downstairs, complete with bathrooms and individual refrigerators (great for the cold cerveza). The private villa has its own private pool and bar and grill area...great for an adventure with family or friends.

Wi-Fi is also available throughout the compound for those who can't just disconnect :-) The entire facility is kept absolutely immaculate by the super friendly, helpful staff.

There are several great local restaurants within walking distance. But if you've had a great day on the beach, and just don't feel like cooking, you can have Celia cook for you. She does wonderful lunches and dinners with lots of great homemade traditional food. You can even arrange all the meals before you get there. For those who just love to grill, ask Humberto to have the fish truck stop and go pick up some tilapia, shrimp or tuna. Hummm...what a meal.

Whether you are in the pool, or under a palapa on the beach, this is the place to go if you want total relaxation. Debbie and Mike have created one of the greatest get-away spots in Troncones. Mike and Debbie, along with the entire staff, make you feel like part of the family when you stay here. If you are staying in Troncones, Casa de la Sirena is the place to stay!

      Wonderful, relaxing and pampered...

Left on 03/05/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Wonderful, relaxing and pampered is how we felt during our stay at Casa de la Sirena. Debbie, Mike and their staff are very accommodating and really do go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. Our accommodations were spacious, very clean and comfortable. We have been to Troncones several times, staying at various locations and loved how centrally located Casa de la Sirena is close to town and walking distance to popular restaurants. The services offered are very handy and took away a lot of the hazzles of travel. We opted to have our kitchen stocked before we arrived and also pre-ordered several lunches and dinners which were delicious, I would recommend both services they are well worth it. You could purchase fresh fruit and vegetables from the fruit truck daily and the staff helped us with the language explaining what we wanted. We would highly recommend Casa de la Sirena for their excellent service, comfortable accommodations and we plan on staying here again on future trips.

Casa De La Sirena is our Shangri la

Left on 02/18/2013 for a stay in January 2013

My husband and I just booked our fifth year in a row to stay at Casa De La Sirena next January. When you think of a perfect, quiet vacation, Casa De La Sirena is it. The accommodations are breath taking. There is usually only one or two other couples at the pool as you sit in the afternoon which leaves you feeling like it is your own little oasis. The only noises you hear are the waves and Mike Price's laughing which we love! Mike and Debbie Price are warm, accommodating and hospitable. They have the same, stable staff year after year so we truly feel when we arrive like our friends are waiting for us! Dan and I have never felt in the least unsafe in Troncones. Cas De La Sirena is truly our Shangri la.

Casa de la Sirena and Troncones was a true vacation

Left on 06/06/2012 for a stay in March 2012

We found this treasure by chance on the internet. From the moment we entered the property we were totally at peace. The town is very simple, dirt roads, smiling people, simple businesses and unbelievably delicious food served in with dogs and chickens and children wandering in and out. The Casa grounds are spellbinding. Lush everything, palms, mangos, coconuts, flowers everywhere. And the villas could not have been more beautiful or comfortable. The owners are welcoming and caring. The employees clearly love their jobs and where they work. This was a memorable, restful vacation in a truly beautiful part of Mexico. And let's not forget to mention the ocean and the sunsets...

We had a great time at Casa DE la Sirena, in Troncones Mexico. We went to relax & enjoy the sun...and we did. Great place to stay, very safe & secure. Humberto & Jose are the daily managers and look after you very well. The room we stayed in was 1st class and very comfortable. Troncones has some very great places to eat, most are quaint to dirt floor type of places. We wandered around the small town & up and down the gorgeous beach with never any worry about safety or sales people (there were a few trinket sales people on the beach, but very few) All in all we would highly recommend Casa DE la Sirena to anyone who asks us.

Short trip from Ziwat. You enter a dirt road village wondering what you've gotten into, and then you walk through the gates of the villa...Omg! I felt like I'd entered a scene from Fantasy Island. The grounds are landscaped to perfection. The outdoor bar beckons you for that first margarita. The rooms are large and exactly what you'd expect of a fabulous Mexican resort. The pool is gorgeous and promises to give a respite from the heat of the day.
We stayed in the villa with the outdoor kitchen. Fantastic!! We enjoyed lobster we purchased, with the help of a staff member, from a local fisherman we'd watched fish for hours. We also had Cecila, owner of a local restaurant, come in to cook several meals. Delicious!!
The only thing I didn't love were the hard beds...miserable. But, Debbie had foam mattresses brought in and that helped alot. Also, I would not limit the places I ate to those recommended by the owner. There are many wonderful places to eat, even if they don't have an arrangement with the villa.
Many of the restaurants have dirt floors. There are no tv's, phones, internet. This is a quaint, unspoiled village with charming families running the businesses. If you want to get away from it all, enjoy fantastic food with wonderful people in a beautiful setting, this is for you. If you want night life, room service, and a city type atmosphere, this is not for you.

I went with a group of friends. We were our entertainment. I'd go back in a heart beat.

This is the 1st complaint we have received about the cook services and wish, as our pre-arrival instructions request, this would have been addressed during your stay so we could have assured all was "made right". As well, our pre-arrival instructions beg our guests to let our on site manager know of any problems in the villas. The shower and stove issues could have been fixed within hours. . If our maintenance man was not able to fix it, we have a great plumber available 24/7.

Paradise on Earth with the best staff in the Universe!!! We love

Left on 04/19/2011 for a stay in March 2011

My husband and I rented the entire compound for our wedding and it was just amazing! It has nine gigantic beautiful rooms that accommodated our families every need. Not to mention we where travelling with 8 children under five who also loved it! Debbie, the owner, did everything possible to accommodate our needs, giving us information about the villa and activities we wanted to do and referring us to the right people for other services. The staff at the compound were amazing as well, its nice to see everyone employed at an establishment who are always friendly, happy and super helpful! We were especially happy with Homberto, he's the man! If you need anything he will get it for you, we couldn't say enough awesome things about him :) The property was "spick and span" everyday and the kitchens and bbqs were great. We loved how both pools had shady and sunny sides all through out the day, how the property was exquisitely decorated and how the gardens were very beautiful and the staff worked hard and did a wonderful job keeping them that way. The beach just out front of the villa had nice palapas with chairs to hangout at during the hot times of the day, there were neat rock gardens with tons of fish, crabs and other sea creatures that the adults and children had fun exploring, not to mention some good waves for surfing if you were feeling adventurous. For our wedding we had it rate on the beach if front of Casa De La Sirena at sunset and our wedding planner was Fanscico Ibarra Rivera; he was equally as fantastic planning and arranging everything from our ceremony to the evening dance! The Villa was a beautiful place to have our dinner and dance around the main pool with tons of space and elagance. And Debbies cooks worked really hard to make fresh hand made tortillas for our reception dinner that were delicious! We really could not say enough about everything and everyone and I can guarantee who ever stays here would feel the same way :)

We can't say enough great things about our time at Casa de la Sirena! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was a dream vacation. Mike and Debbie Meador's Casa de la Sirena felt like we were staying in a beautiful "home." Everything was top notch in every way. Debbie and Mike have created a fantastic oasis for people who need a little time to relax and for us, to get away from the cold! The staff was helpful and always quick to respond to our smallest request. The food at every restaurant suggested was great and felt like a home cooked meal made with love by the cook. We can't wait to go back next year. We just need to pick our dates. Thank you for everything.

This was our fifth stay at Casa de la Sirena. We love the setting and friendliness of the staff and other local people. Their is nothing better then waking to the sound of the surf or watching the sun rise or set from the beach right outside your villa. The local restaurants serve wonderful food or you can choose to purchase fresh fish, shrimp, fruit and vegetables from the local vendors who stop by the villa several times a week. This is a great place to lay back, read several books and enjoy meeting new friends.

Mike and Debbie have created a paradise on the beach!! We cooked some meals in the outdoor kitchen using local fish and produce and are still raving about them! Also ate at several local restaurants and cafes and never had a bad meal. The boogie boarding in the ocean was really fun as well as just lounging by the pool with refreshments. Thanks to all the Sirena staff, especially Humberto, for making our stay a memory we will always remember. Can't wait to return!!
