Red Bear Lodge is a custom built log home overlooking the fourth hole of the Tahoe Donner Championship Golf Course in Truckee/Tahoe, CA. This romantic lodge has been beautifully decorated and has three bedrooms, an oversized loft and can comfortably sleep up to ten. Perfect for two families! The lodge also has two completely redesigned bathrooms, a spectacular new kitchen, three fireplaces on one of the most private settings in all of Tahoe Donner.

My entire family plus dogs loved the Red Bear Lodge! It was conveniently located near Truckee and Tahoe Donner- we walked to the ski slopes! The cabin was cozy and warm and the entire family had a great time! We hope to return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful wooded areas and Golf course. Highly recommended!

Great place for a nice get away. Good location in Tahoe Donner. Close to the Mountian for kids skiing. Quick personal responses from Owners when booking the home. Nice remodel job on the kitchen & Baths.
If it is winter, do not plan on using the deck or BBQ unless you want to shovel the deck. -

We had the best time at the Red Bear Lodge...You have to see this wonderful house! The beds were cozy--the real lodge atmosphere. Clean. Close to the ski area, my husband I love to ski, so this was very important to us. Great view of the golf course. We'll be back at our first opportunity.

What a great time we had at the Read Bear Lodge! It is even better than the wonderful photos show. The kids loved the loft and playing outside and taking hikes around the area. What a relaxing cabin. Looking forward to coming back next year.

We had a wonderful, restful stay at Red Bear Lodge. It is everything as advertised. It is an authentic log cabin that is warm and cozy. Love the location on the golf course. We hope to stay here again sometime in the near future.

Location, location, location. The first location is for the access to the Bay Area - Donner gives you all the benefits of Tahoe, without the traffic of going deep into Tahoe. The second location is for how this cabin is perfectly located comfortably within the trees for great privacy, without too many trees obstructing your access and views. And the third location is for the great view of the golf course. You can see the action without worrying about someone taking their second shot from your deck. We spent so much time outside, we had to make time to enjoy all the comforts inside the cabin. Enjoy! We sure did.
