Antioch, CAExcellent property but beware of condo property manager onsite
Left on 03/23/2011 for a stay in March 2011
This is a wonderful condo, very conveniently located on the slopes. This place has all the amenities of home (lovely fireplace, full size fridge, Directv and a great recliner were a huge plus!). The bed upstairs is extremely hard, you could bounce a ball on it. Because of that, we ended up sleeping on the futon downstairs. It's a great property overall.
However, please beware of the onsite property manager whom you have to deal with when arriving at the condo (she is not associated with Tahoe Truckee Properties). She is beyond rude and it is extremely obvious that she loathes the people who rent for a few days here. On 2 separate occasions, she told my husband and myself off, when we were nothing but nice and polite to her. Yet, we watched her be kind and polite to a homewowner who was there. I have met some rude people in my lifetime, but this woman takes the top prize!
