Tahoe Donner getaway
Clean, quiet, pet friendly home. Nothing fancy and over priced, but the Tahoe Donner area can't be beat for amenities and privacy. A fenced yard would be nice for pet owners not wanting to leash their pets every time they need go out. Considering this home is on a corner lot, it was still pretty quiet. Wish there had been some snow...Fyi-the road (Skislope Rd.) tends to ice over when there's any moisture, so take it slow going down the hill towards town. We witnessed a rollover accident at the bottom of the hill, when a Subaru missed the left turn at the bottom and ended up in someone's front yard, upside down!

Nice place to stay!
Very comfortable and clean place to stay! We got a ton of snow towards the end and it made it hard to get out with the steep driveway.
Our only negatives would be that the downstairs bedrooms where pretty chilly and the one with the queen bed, the portable heater didn't work at all!

Ok Property
I have none but one complaint. The property is a bit overpriced for its size and interior. Well, the garage wouldn't fit my Suburban.

Nice home in Tahoe Donner
We stayed for three nights during the early Spring when there was still snow
on the ground. The home is uphill from the street on a corner. We were
worried that being on an intersection might make the home noisy, but it
turned out that traffic was not a problem at all. The steep driveway was a
trial until it warmed up and the ice melted. We had to clear the entry stairs
and decks of a foot or so of snow, but that is to be expected in Tahoe
during Winter.
The master bedroom and bath are good and fairly large. The bedrooms
downstairs are small but comfortable, with a nice double bunk bed setup
for the kids. The downstairs occupants reported it was always cold down
there, although it stayed warm upstairs. The TVs are old style CRTs, but
they work fine, if being a bit dated. The decks are nice and we had fun
playing in the snow near the home.
While it is not our favorite of the Pullen rental homes, we would not mind
staying there again, so we can recommend it. Just watch your head on the
kitchen upper cabinets over the island if you are more than six feet tall!

Beautiful place for family time.
We were only able to stay a few days as one son had to get back to work and our other son had to get back to his college but they were great days. We were able to bring our golden retriever, Buddy, amd while my husband and sons were off snowboarding he and I went for walks and even went into town where we found a shop just for him. I enjoy the Tahoe Donnor area and this cabin was perfect to all get together in.If you want comfort and a beautiful setting this cabin has it all. They even had a great gift basket for us. That has never happened any where else we have rented a cabin before. We'll certainly be back!
