It was great except for the no hot water part..
The rental was great and everything was awesome except for when it came time to take a bath or a shower THÈ hot water only lasted about a minute then turned freezing cold. I had planned out a rose pedal bath with my girlfriend and I wasn't able to get her in the bath tub because the water was so cold. We tried several different occasions to use it and it was unsuccessful. So that was pretty disappointing. We both were pretty disappointed.

Tremendous house for a snow-less Tahoe
This house was perfect for the my group of eight friends for our annual ski trip. Unfortunately the lack of snow meant we wouldn't be skiing very much. This house was the only reason why our trip was still successful. Furniture was all comfortable and of decent quality or better. Entertainment options (Tv's, wifi) were welcome as we spent far more time in the house than expected. Service was simple and without frills. I booked the house, received simple check-in instructions before arrival and did not run into any problems sticking to the instructions. Two things really stand out: The heating and insulation, and the kitchen. Unlike other houses I've rented before, this house heats fast, and doesn't suffer from any drafts. The kitchen stands out as the best part. Between the plentiful workspace, professional range and fridge, the knife collection, and the grill, I found myself unhappy to return home. In all seriousness my biggest complaint was the lack of a wok.
This house rescued our Tahoe trip and at the price we got we would rent it again in an instant.

Stay at Northstar Views
We found the location great with excellent access to Northstar. The house was very nice, but we had a few issues. The toilet in the master suite was broken and despite being told it would be fixed that never occurred. When we arrived the bear box for the trash had not been emptied, nor was there a pick-up during our eight-night stay. We ran out of room for our trash. Lastly we had a problem with termites under the sink from a previous leaky pipe situation. They were sprayed once, but the insects returned later.

This was the best ever rental for our extended family
Great room is very spacious with extensive views of Northstar and open spaces. Large deck with a child proof railing hsa a modern three burner gas grill which we used for most dinners. Large modern kitchen was fully full stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. All bedrooms were large and well appointed with great views. Large two car garage with driveway for two more cars. Neighbor is quite at night and ideal for families.
