Located on Pinnacle Loop, this home has wonderful views of the mountains and is just minutes from Truckee and a short drive to all the major North Shore area ski resorts, Donner Lake, and Lake Tahoe. This modest but clean and comfy home will sleep 9 people max. There is a walkway with stairs that lead you down to the covered front door.

Very disappointed
We staying at this place to enjoy summer getaway along with softball tournament near Reno. Arrived Sunday after long 8 hour drive entered the house initial reaction wow! Great panoramic view looking out the window the scenery was picture perfect. As we opened the sliding door along with screen door looking out the fresh mountain air was great. When we entered back into the house the screen door fell off the track, I put the screen door back in its place so that we can get a fresh air. I was getting irritated fact that my kids wanted to go out the patio, every time they opened the screen door it would not stay on track. One occasion screen door fell and hit my son in the head. Monday afternoon my wife called the property management to schedule for screen to be fixed, could not get confirmation time because maintenance person was on-call, later on I called back and property management requested for me to give him a call on his cell I left a message and did not here back. Around 4:30p property management called indicating maintenance will come before noon tomorrow (Tuesday) to fix the sliding door. Waited past 1:00p for maintenance to come, called back both maintenance and property management after 3:00p wondering when the screen door will be fixed. Because I called back the property management indicated bottom wheel needs to be repaired and he cannot come today can fix tomorrow (Wednesday) after 4:00p. I was quite furious 1)Why I was get another round-around. 2)Why does it take 2 days to fix the screen. We were hosting a party for the team (could be potential customer). I told property management forget it come Thursday to fix it. Unfortunately I had to stick a note on the sliding door indicating (sliding door broken fix when you enter). Thursday afternoon screen door was fixed (I thought)maintenance did replace the wheel however screen door still fell off the track. We left Friday afternoon instead of Sunday we had enough.

Beautiful view, very comfortable, well-stocked, great hill
We had a great visit and the house provided the home base we needed for family meals, warm fire for games and TV sports, and great view. We also had a wonderful hill for our own sledding right off the deck. It was a terrific place, not fancy, just very comfortable.

Great house for a group
We stayed here with friends and kids in the middle of a blizzard and were very comfortable. The house is bigger than I expected, and very clean. It's way at the top of Tahoe Donner, so it took a little while to get there in the snow... but we had a great time nonetheless! Tahoe Donner HOa even cleared the driveway for us.

Great house for multiple families
This house was great for two families of 4 to stay. The only concern we had was that the railings both inside and outside aren't up to code and on the back balcony, one of the posts was missing. My 5 year old could have slipped thru the slats very easily. If you have toddlers or crawlers in the group, this isn't the place to stay.
Home was nice and clean and spacious with lots of light. We skied at Tahoe Donner and it was very close. Pullen Group was very accomodating and helpful in planning this trip.

Thank you for your review! Upon reading your review the owner informed us that they will be correcting the railing situation at their home right away to replace the missing rail. Their home is up to code and has been from the time it was built. The homeowners are not required to make any changes to a new code unless they remodel the deck. Warm and welcoming
The views were incredible, the house was comfortable and the kitchen well-
stocked. Although the house is dated, the pictures don't convey the warmth of
the home. The house is close to ski areas and the sledding/tubing center at
Trout Creek. Our family loved the conveniences of Tahoe Donner. We
recommend this home and would definitely stay here again.
