My family and I enjoyed our stay. The place was spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies needed to cook almost anything we brought. Just bring your own food and groceries. Extra linens were also available in the downstairs closet. Very family friendly with games available. I would stay there again.

Very great service, the staff were very nice to deal with. I first booked a property that was on renovation and finding another property was not a hassle because the staff (Rene) was very helpful. The house itself was clean, very well kept with a large kitchen which was perfect for our group who all wanted to be either in the kitchen or dining table. The kids had a blast running in and around the house, then enjoyed the big tub for a warm bath in the evenings. Great experience! Will definitely be looking at your properties the next time around.

We stayed for 3 ninghts and had an amazing time there! We were stunned when we first got in the house. The kids were so excited, screaming and running around the house. House was huge, comfortabley fitting all 12 of us. I love the modern kitchen, I was able to cook the same way as at home. By the way, Wifi was not working, big kids were kinda frustrated not being able to use their Ipad or computer. Not only was it barely useable, we were using the next door neighbor's wifi. Slow drain in downstairs bedroom, everything else was great. We loved this house, planning to come back next winter. -

My family and I stayed at the Tahoe Classic earlier this month. While the actual home and location are very nice, the upkeep on the home and amenities was lacking. We were welcomed with a nice gift basket, but unfortunately the rest of our trip was colored by the poor oversight of the property by Pullen Rental Group. The outdoor grill was filthy and looked like no one had touched it in a long time. Many of the kitchen pans were corroded and one skillet had the handle taped on and was ready to fall off. There were also stains on one set of sheets and no mattress covers on any of the beds. There was only one wash cloth in the entire house. There were also cobwebs in the bedrooms. Considering the $225 cleaning fee, I expected a much better maintained home.
Pullen Rental did offer to send over a cleaning crew and a maintenance person to look at the grill, but we declined this offer as we were already unpacked and did not want any intrusions nor to be further inconvenienced on our vacation. Our first day was spent getting supplies such as a smokey joe as we had planned to do a lot of grilling. Julie at Pullen did buy more wash cloths and one skillet that I picked up at the rental office. I was very disappointed in her customer service as she did not empathize with, nor validate our legitimate complaints, and went so far to state that her bread pans looked like the ones in the home. When I first spoke to her I wanted to be sure the owners were made aware of our dissatisfaction, and I was led to believe that they would be informed. However, she has not confirmed this and has not had the courtesy to return my phone calls. I am very sorry if the owners will be blindsided by my review. We have stayed in Vrbo properties numerous times and have always had great customer service. -

The rental was just as described on your website. The home was clean, well maintained, spacious and comfortable. It was a perfect weekend retreat for three couples and two children with plenty of fun in the snow for all.

Our vacation was super. The house was just wow!!! It was huge. Awsome living room wih a lot of space. Kitchen is really updated. Our mom just enjoyed the luxuries kitchen! Our family had a blassed time!!!

The house if very nice and spacious. But like mentioned before in another review, this house needs a few items. The kitchen items such as knives and pans are extremely old and falling apart. A family member burned herself using a frying pan with a poor handle that was loose. The towels are extremely old and there were not that many extra blankets. The couch is pretty uncomfortable and the tv's were pretty small. The amount of movies were extremely limited to a collection I would find amazed as to who would watch them. Again, all these upgrades could easily be fixed. If the time and effort was made, the house would be greatly improved.

The cabin rental was clean and well stocked with towels, etc - along with a lovely welcoming gift basket. We were all in town for a family wedding just down the road and the cabin was the perfect location. In fact, all the bridesmaids got their hair done in the well-lit master bathroom on the day of the wedding. The large kitchen and living room allowed us to all eat and socialize while finalizing wedding details. It was a great rental for our family. We loved it. The kids loved the "secret" room in the downstairs bedroom closet - it became their clubhouse. We would highly recommend this cabin to for a large family gathering. Nothing fancy - but perfect for us.

Had a family reunion with ~50 people from out of town - rented 3 houses from Pullen, all very nice. This one was great for a large get together - we had a lot of people in the living room and it didn't feel crowded. Kitchen was also great.

The kitchen was woefully understocked with few pots/pans (old) and a mishmash of only 3 wine glasses. Towels were old, carpet showed serious wear. Most importantly, there were no blinds in the master bedroom window/door and room filled with light early in the morning. Lastly, couch in living room is terribly uncomfortable. Spending some money on some minor upgrades would greatly improve the user experience.

Everything good.
Parking space is enough, room is clean and nice
each level have seperate gas fireplace.
but hot water is not enough.
After a lot snow, it is hard to find house number on night time.
So Traveler should be careful to find house number
road is narrow.

There was tons of room, for the kids to run around and for the adults to relax. Great open ktichen/family room/eating area. Very easy to get to and easy to get to Tahoe Donner ski area as well as sledding area. Only comppainst would be that the master bedrom windows seemed thin as we could hear every car that went by. We used a baby gate for the stairs and the gate had a hard time staying up due to the unique railing design. Other than that everything was great.

The home was well suited to our family of adults. The living room, dining area and kitchen area lends itself well to a large group. Bunk beds in one room would be better suited to children but we made it work. My one disappointment was the cleanliness. The carpets were heavily stained throughout the house, a closet door was off its hinges, and garbage was left in the garage. I think whoever inspects the properties before renters come in should be more attentive to these issues. Also I have never been in a rental where so much food was left in the cabimets and refigerator.

Thank you for your review! The carpets receive high traffic during a peak season however regular carpet cleanings are scheduled. After your departure the carpets were cleaned and look very nice. The closet door was an oversight and we do thank you for bringing this to our attention. Dried goods may be left in the cupboards but expiration dates are checked regularly. Food left in the refrigerator is thrown away after each reservation, especially dairy products. Thank you for bringing these items to our attention. We will be sure to check the refrigerator. We enjoyed our stay at this 4 bedroom house in Tahoe Donner. The kitchen and great room living space was our favorite part of the house. The kitchen equipment and silverware were well stocked and the outside grill and patio were great for entertaining at our family reunion. This home is on a busy street and the street noise in the master bedroom can be very annoying, especially when trying to "sleep in" on vacation. The carpets need a good cleaning and two of the downstairs bedrooms need lamps for reading.

This home is wonderful, very well equipped with kitchen items. Very spacious, it could use a carpet cleaning, but otherwise very well kept. Yes the sound does travel in the home, especially downstairs, but worth the stay.

The home was lovely and we had a fine time.
Our only suggestion is to put glass in the open window (or fill the space in with drywall) between the master bedroom and the kitchen, having an open window affords no privacy and one can hear everything going on in the kitchen therefore waking up the guests, so it didn't make sense to us why there was this opening. The Tahoe Classic home was beautiful. The location was convenient, no slippery driveway. The layout of the house worked great for our extended family of nine.
There were two problems we had with the place. First, the kitchen was horribly equipped. We had to scramble to make do to get a meal on the table. We do like to cook and so our needs may be unusual.
The other problem was the heater. We could not figure out how to use it. We cooked most of the time. We would turn the thermostat to 68, but the heat kept running, sometimes to 85! So we had to keep turning it off and on. We asked a maintenance guy if there was a trick, but he didn't know. Better to be hot than cold though. I think it would be nice if there were more instructions on how things worked like the furnace and the fireplace.
We did have a great time and would stay here again. I will just bring my own cooking utensils!Response from Pullen Rental Group - 02/24/2010

The kitchen should soon be well supplied with everything you might need to prepare meals. There is a binder in all of our vacation homes with house instructions. We spent Thanksgiving in this house along with two other families. It is a gorgeous place. It is spacious and well laid out. Compared to other places we've stayed in Tahoe in the past 10 years or so, this is definitely one of the best. We had adults and kids and the place worked out really well for us. The kids played outside in the snow and built a snow man. The bath tub in the master bedroom was large enough to hold 4 kids to take a bath together.
Everyone had a great time. We'll sure come back if we can get the group together again. -

Overall - great service.Easy rental procedure. The home was large and clean. Location was not great, as you can hear street/traffic noise from the master bedroom.
Other issues:
Heating system,house was either hot or cold.Lots of complaints.
Master bedroom lacked privacy due to large opening in wall over bedroom door. Can hear all living room and kitchen noise.
Nice big kitchen missing some basics (Large roasting pans, rolling pin, baking soda or powder) and very disorganized shelves making it hard to find what you need to cook.
Some dishes and pans were found wet in the cupboards.
Living room was nice and big but did not have adequate seating for more that 5 comfortably. We had 7 in our group and 4 visitors.
An assortment of family board games would have been nice, we assumed they would have them there and didn't bring any.
Nice big garage that can fit a large vehicle was a plus with all the snow.

The house was very nice and roomy. There was quite a bit of consruction going on in the neighborhood, which was a bit noisy.
I didn't care for the open area over the door, which conected the master bedroom to the living room and kitchen. Not a good design.
There should also be a screen door put on the master bedroom balcony door for air circulation.
All in all a nice place. -

This was by far the best house we have stayed in. It was exactly like the pictures and what I loved the most was the clean, uncluttered look and feel. We had 4 little kids around and I didn't feel like they had to stay away from anything.(except we blocked off the stairs going down from the living area!)The master shower was by far the thing I looked forward to the most. Spacious ad gorgeous. The kitchen was a cooks dream. We had a large BBQ with at least 35 people and there was plenty of room. We played ganes every night on the huge dining room table and took early morning walks on the golf course path right across the street. Will definitely rent this again!
