The house was wonderful, loved the different living spaces, sleeping spaces. The kitchen and living room made a great gathering space. Beautiful area and the bus made it so easy to get to the slopes.
The only thing that we found we did not have was bar soap in any of the bathrooms. Liquid hand soap at the sinks is not enough. Also the bear bin was not empty and the garbage was an issue. All in all, we loved the the house and it was perfect for our group and stay. -

This is a beautiful cabin very well layed out for 2 or 3 families to share. The downstairs is wonderful for children to enjoy while the adults are upstairs. It was very clean, well stocked with all that is needed to enjoy staying at home and cooking and the scenery was beautiful. The shuttle service to Northstar was wonderful. So easy, fast and convenient! It was a very comfortable and relaxing vacation.

We've rented other homes at Tahoe and specifically at Northstar, and we've found that sometimes, the photos on the websites make the homes look better than they turn out to be in person. With Big Springs at Northstar, we all agreed that the home looks better in person than the photos are able to show. The home fit our needs perfectly with plenty of room for our three families. The kids loved the bunk room. There was plenty of room for us to play games and socialize as a group while at the same time providing private space for those who wanted to read or use the internet. The driveway was a little tricky to negotiate with three cars, but it wasn't a big problem. Overall, we loved Big Springs at Northstar and would definitely want to stay there again.

We have been staying in the Tahoe area in rental houses for 10 years with our three children and their families. This house was the nicest we have ever rented. The rooms are a nice size, the decks are great and the flat back yard is a luxury. Everything in the house is first class. The beds are comfortable, the furniture is nice and comfortable, there is enough room at the dining table for our whole family and best of all the kitchen is wonderfully equipped. We enjoyed the rec. center and walking in the surrounding area. For our big family it is perfect. We hadn't intended to pay as much as we had to, but in the end we all agreed that it was worth it. We have already rented it for next year.

The house was well located close to Northstar Village and skiing. It sleeps up to 12 very comfortably. The kitchen/family room area is great to gather and hang out with everyone. The house was clean and comfortable.
One negative is the 10am checkout. It's a bit early and has everyone rushing around. When paying that type of money for a vacation rental I'd think a noon checkout is acceptable. -

The Big Spring home is not in Davis it is located at Northstar resort area.
The home was everything Tahoegetaways said it would be -- will maintained, clean and the kitchen is truely a joy to cook in.
Northstar is great for a family lots of amenities. The shuttle service is wonderful -- we arrived parked our car and didn't use it again until we left to go home. The sking is great -- runs for all skiers.
Big Spring is so comfortable we felt like we were HOME. We will be back next year for are annual family snow trip.

We do an annual ski trip to Tahoe each year and we are always on the lookout for "the perfect house". When we got to Big Springs, we felt that our search was truly over. This home was big enough for our gang to move about and not feel crowded, and then some! We truly felt as if we were guests of the owner because the house is furnished so well with top notch furnishings and appliances. The only suggestion I would make is for the owner to put a bigger flat screen TV in the great room, and maybe a tv in the downstairs bedroom. If we can get the same number of folks to go up again next year, we will definitely rent this house again!

The owners were great to work with!!!!! The house was incredible , beautifully furnished and no problems!! We would stay here as much as we can!!
