Great location, cozy setting but furniture condition very poor
We loved the charm and warmth of the cabin, and enjoyed the prime location and Northstar perks. The Pullen team provided excellent service as well. Our only, but big complaint is the furniture and mattresses. The mattress spring either had sunken completely or they pop up hurting your back, depending on which bed you had. The bathrooms had no curtains or blinds, we needed to make our own covering during our stay just to shower in peace. But all that said, we still had a good time.

Thank you for your review! Since you posted your review of the mattresses this owner has purchased brand new mattresses for the master bed as well as the 2 twin beds. Simons Beauty Rest mattresses to be exact. The owner appreciated learning about the uncomfortable mattresses and wanted to correct this right away. Thanks again for letting us know. The Pullen Management Team.

Great place!
The house had plenty of room, the hot tub was great, and the shuttle service was so convenient! The one shower was not even a problem.

Great Location, house needs updates
We chose this home 4 weeks prior to our vacation because of its location, convenience to shuttle service, and value. We also enjoyed the private hot tub and fireplace.
The house was sufficient for the size of our group, but there were definitely some things that could have been better. Mainly the beds. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable, it sagged in the middle and provided no support. I woke up everyday with back pain. The bed cover was an older wool like quilt, that had several rusty colored stains and was very itchy. I think i remember a kitten print or something. The upstairs bedroom wasn't much better. We were told that the two beds could be pushed together to make a queen/king but that didn't work due to the bed frames and the shape of the room. They were also very uncomfortable mattresses.
The bathroom in the master bedroom is a tub with a detachable shower head handle. At first when i read this, i wasn't so concerned. But it was really difiicult to take a shower using the shower handle. The connection was loose and the water sprayed everywhere.
The dishes in the the kitchen were useable but old. They also really lacked glassware and silverware. Instead we used alot of paper plates, plastic silverware, and plastic cups. But drinking wine out of plastic cups just isn't the same.
I hate to sound like I'm complaining. We still had a fantastic vacation but little things could be done to update this property: New mattresses, sheets, silverware, glassware, install a shower in the master, and maybe get newer flat screen tv's.
I would definitely book with Pullen Realty Group again, they were friendly and very helpful. But I probably wouldn't select this location again.

sweet cabin but inconvenient bed/bath arrangement
Location was fabulous. We loved being able to take the Northstar shuttle right from the driveway! Cabin was sweet and cozy : ) but, I don't recommend this for two families. We traveled with another family with kids and it was not great having both bathrooms on the first floor and all the other bedrooms, but the master, upstairs. Invconvenient and awkward! Plus one bathroom was in the master bedroom, so at night this meant that everyone sleeping upstairs had one bathroom for their use on a separate floor. Disappointed that this was not made clear in the listing.

Good location but house is tired in need of renovation
I booked this house based on earlier reviews and the location at Northstar. The location was good and easy to access the shuttle as stated in earlier reviews, but we found the property dated and tired. While comfortable enough, appliances were old, a toaster oven would be helpful and bathroom set up was tricky. The shower was fine, but a tub with a handheld shower and no curtain made for a wet bathroom. We generally resorted to just using the one shower. It would be nice to have a 3 seater sofa plus a love seat instead of two love seats. With 5 or 6 of us there at any given time we could not all fit in front of the fireplace. The house was functional, but just seemed tired and dated.
