Entry level: Open common area includes living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a gas fireplace, TV/DVD, cable and wireless internet. The kitchen has everything you may need for creating a feast and serving it up with style. There is a half bath in the hall across from Bedroom #1 which has a Queen bed. We arrived to a very clean and organized home. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The living area was open and inviting. I loved the big floor to ceiling windows, however they could use a little washing. The kitchen was modern and clean and we felt very comfortable cooking in the kitchen. The beds could be a a little softer - but they were clean and the bathrooms were clean.
Our daughter got married that weekend, that is why we rented this lodge. The St. Croix is only about 1/2 mile from The Lodge at Tahoe-Donner, the venue for the big event, so that was an added plus. All in all it was a great stay in a great lodge in the forest. Just make sure you have a good GPS system to find it, it's a bit of a maze up there, but it's worth it. -

We were very surprised that the house was bigger than we thought for 8 people. I am one that prefers to be further away from the busy areas, but it is still fairly close to get to the main street. There were lots of neighboring activities, however the club house closes at 7pm which I think is too early for people who want to dip in the hot tub at night. Anyway, the house had everything you need. We were able to fit 2 cars in the garage, and plenty of space for the 3rd car on the drive way. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor is next to the kitchen and bathroom, and convenient for those early risers who want to brew early morning coffee without waking up anyone. The 2nd floor loft was with 2 bedrooms was also very convenient and comfortable. The living room large sofa is a bit worn out in terms of cushion but all together its okay. The wifi was convenient, but the cell phone reception is a bit poor in the house, so if you absolutely need to call on your cell you need to go outside to the drive way until you get a signal. For emergencies though, there is a land line. I would recommend this place if you have well behaved doggies, and I'm sure our pups loved the place. They also loved the walks at the donner lake area which was only a 10 minute drive from the house. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Had a wonderful stay, all conviences of home and very clean. Very easy to work with the Pullen rental agency,
no hassles and everything was as stated. Would do it again! Enjoyed our stay! -

We have been vacationing in Tahoe Donner for many years and, although the house is not a "designer showcase," it was one of the most comfortable homes we have stayed in. Access to the home--both arriving and leaving-- was very convenient even on a heavy snow weekend. The house (kitchen especially) was well laid out for a large group (four couples). Most everything worked as it should (kitchen, laundry, heat, internet, etc.) and the house was clean on arrival and easy to make ready for departure. We would stay again.

This cabin was absolutely amazing! It was conveniently close to restaurants, grocery store, and Northstar Ski Resort. The cabin had very spacious rooms, a cozy living room with a pretty good fireplace, and everything you needed to cook up a nice meal. Check-in/out process was easy and straightforward and the staff was very friendly.
I would definitely spend my winter here again and recommend it to others.
