Welcome to Northstar Getaway! This David Gould design is an affordably priced vacation rental home in Northstar. Built in 1982 it was state of the art at the time and was featured in Sunset magazine. Sure you could stay in several small condos at the village, or you can spread out in a full size 2,700 home with a hot tub for the same price just 5 minutes away! Do you have a bigger group? St. LouisPerfect for big family ski vacation

This home and location were a huge hit with my family for our spring break ski vacation. The home is comfortably furnished with enough amenities to make everyone happy (cable, wifi, laundry, gym access, hot tub - these were the biggest hits). The shuttle system works flawlessly and is so convenient. The only hitch we had was a broken hot tub on the day of arrival, but that was fixed by the next day as promised. The rental process by Pullen was also spot on - nice job. I really have no complaints at all.

3 families recently rented 1631 Deerpath during ski season. It is a great location on the Northstar shuttle line, so transportation to and from the ski resort was fabulous! The house was definitely able to fit all of us quite well, however there were some notable items missing that made our stay less comfortable:
1. there was plenty of wood to start a fire, but not one match in the house. We eventually had to go out and buy matches which we left for the next guests
2. there was hardly any salt. Again, a little surprising for a stocked kitchen - we had to go to the grocery store to buy some. I typically find salt and pepper when I rent a house with a stocked kitchen
3. there was a broken wine opener - we were able to make it work, but this was a bit disappointing
4. we had to call 6 times and were put on hold for over half an hour for someone to tell us the code to open the hot tub (there was wrong information in the notebook at the house which I corrected)
5. there is only 1 bowl larger than a cereal bowl (again a bit disappointing for a stocked kitchen)
6. In a house that sleeps 10, we did not have 10 chairs for seating around the dining table
We did enjoy our stay in Tahoe, but a few minor fixes would make a stay in this house much better.
