      Pre-Wedding Relaxation!

Left on 10/16/2012 for a stay in September 2012

As a stressed bride to be, my fiance and I found a haven of peace and quiet away from the city and bustle of wedding planning at Wolf Mountain. The cabin is rustic and has a country charm, and as long as you bring your supplies for the weekend, you'll be all set to relax away from home. We brought along 2 of our 4 dogs, and they loved running up the hill through the Christmas trees (Terry, sorry, but I think they tried to mark every single tree) which kept them busy. Although the lake was down (and had it been at full level, we definitely would have been paddling all day Saturday) we ended up going to Gorges State Park (short drive away) and hiked a few trails as well as the very easy walk to Whitewater Falls. We have a 2 wheel drive truck, but next time with the 4 wheel drive we'll muscle it up the dirt road to Horseshoe Rock. There's plenty to do in the area, but we mainly enjoyed having a quiet front porch and a clean house away from our piles of wedding "to do's" and it gave us time to reflect before our big day. Thanks Terry for accomodating us on short notice!

      Great weekend getaway!

Left on 10/15/2012 for a stay in February 2012

We loved our stay at this charming cabin with great views! We enjoyed walking around the property and looking at the beautiful scenery. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed making s'mores over the fire. We enjoyed going into town and shopping and having lunch. Overall it was a great weekend and we would highly recommend this cabin! We plan on staying here again!
