Charming 1 bedroom Casita, in the historic Jefferson Park Neighborhood. Centrally located, and 5 minutes to downtown Tucson, where you'll find plenty of dining from fun to fine. We are just minutes away from The University of Arizona, home of the Wildcats, where there is shopping, pubs, theater and museums. Casita De Luz has recently been remodeled. It has a warm cozy feel, with an eclectic touch. You will enjoy the fully equipped open kitchen. There is front door parking and a lush private back patio.

This is our second extended stay in Tucson and our first at Casita de Luz. We selected it for its close proximity to Ua and downtown and its affordability for a five night stay. The hosts greeted us and provided a walk-through of the home which helped us get quickly oriented. The coffee, water, popcorn and basic amenities were just what we needed after our journey. We particularly liked having two bicycles to explore downtown and neighborhoods without worrying about parking. Morning coffee in the private backyard was enhanced by bird songs, woodpeckers, and a large hawk perched in nearby trees. We plan to return to Tucson for an extended stay and will try to arrange it around the availability of Casita de Luz.

We loved our stay at Dave & Luz' little casita, and if we ever again go down to Tucson, they will be the first we contact for a reservation.
The place is very comfortable, and very well equipped: comfortable king size bed with good bedding; ample towels, soaps, toiletries; microwave popcorn, coffee, bottled water, spices, oils. Fast wifi, and good Catv.
We highly recommend this little gem, and think you too will enjoy your stay there.
Thanks again David & Luz - great job in setting up your place - we have stayed in many private rentals, and this ranks way up there in comfort and value!

Had great time at the Casita. Very nicely kept place, good location near University. Nice bonus yard to relax in the sun and grill stakes. Well stocked kitchen ( even Juicer was included)!

We just returned from a stay at
Casita de Luz and would highly recommend this place. The owners went out of thier way to accomodate our needs. We felt as though we were honoured guests. The place was warm, clean and filled with all kinds of extras we did not expect. We travel to Tucson yearly and will certainly be back. I would love to keep this place to myself but our hosts were so kind I need to share. It is close to downtown and all kinds of good restaurants. It has a lovely kitchen and our hosts even bought gas so that we could have steaks on the outdoor grill one night. Fantastic value all around. I highly recommend this place.
