The village itself offers two bars with restaurants, a post office, two supermarkets and a horse-riding centre, as well as Teach Ceoil - a music house which holds traditional events every Tuesday evening during July and August. Across the bay are the mountains of Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick, offering great walking and hiking opportunities, whilst Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, and Inishboffin Island are all within easy reach.

Very friendly and warm welcome by the owner,the accommodation was top rate quality as is the view from the front windows, every high quality amenities are provided throughout the accommodation. The location is perfect for getting around some of the most fantastic features of the Conamara area.
