Casa Sarah Tulum, the beautiful minimalistic interior of the house provides 3 spacious bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms for up to 6 guests to enjoy a great vacation. The guest house allow 4 more guests, and can be rented separately. Rancho San Eric is located on what is known as the "Hotel Zone" or “Zona Hotelera” of Tulum, a one-hour and a half drive from Cancun (about 80 miles or 130 km). From Cancun International Airport, turn right onto the airport access road, and right again to filter onto Highway 307. You should now be heading south on Highway 307. You will pass the towns of Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras and Akumal. Right before Tulum downtown, you will arrive at the intersection with the road to Coba (at this traffic light, you will see a San Francisco de Asis supermarket and Hertz car rental on your right, and a 7-eleven on your left). Turn left, towards the ocean. Continue until you come to a T-junction (you will see Blue Tulum Hotel & Spa). Turn right. You will now be traveling south, along the beach, on the road that heads to Punta Allen. Keep on this road for about 10 minutes. When you see an undulating stone wall on your left with a yellow sign that says "Rancho San Eric", turn left into the driveway, and you will have arrived! You'll know if you've missed the entrance into Rancho San Eric when you enter the arch into the Sian Ka'an Biosphere. Just back up about 200 meters and you should see our entrance.
Driving Tips:
Highway 307 is now a four-lane divided highway all the way to Tulum. However, signage is poor, and the lines marking lanes and exits are confusing and hard to follow, so it’s best to keep alert.
Keep to the speed limit upon entering and exiting Playa Del Carmen as there are always speed traps.

We came back to Tulum this year because we loved our experience at casa de los olas so much last year. We could not get in there so I decided to find a rental since another couple was going to join us. Casa Sara is perfection. Secluded, perfect beach front, airy clean house, all the tools you need to cook great meals if you so choose, what could be better!?! The house has loungers on the beach and on the deck, a covered daybed on the beach, an outdoor dining table, a swing in the living area (we loved this) and 3 nice bedrooms all with there own bathroom. The house gets a lot of ocean breeze so it is always cool and comfortable. I don't have any negatives to say about Casa Sara! The staff is very nice, they cleaned everyday even on Sunday which I had not expected. It is located at the far end of the hotel strip right next to the Sian Ka'an biosphere so you are close to everything but far enough away as well. We love this place and will be back.

We had a fabulous week at Casa Sarah Tulum. The home was perfect for our family- clean, spacious and private. Our private beach was the spectacular. Trees for shade, great access and views. The kids loved the swing in the living room! The bed on the beach was perfect for reading. We enjoyed the deck and loft hammock. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Lovely, private home located on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach and turquoise waters. Absolutely breathtaking...I can't imagine a more perfect place. I will definitely be returning.

Excellent location, perfect place to disconnect and relax. One of the best beaches ever, nature at it's best. The house has got a fantastic vibe, the decoration is ideally balanced to make you feel at home, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean right beneath you is worth returning at least once a year.
