BRAND NEW CONDO IN TULUM
Our condo is located in a secure private residential neighbourhood.
We have a pool, huge palapa and children's play structure available for your pleasure.
There are new air conditioners and ceiling fans throughout.
You have 2 bedrooms as well and a utility room that might serve as another bedroom if needed and 21/2 bathrooms.
A fully equipped kitchen with a blender, coffee maker, microwave and all the utensils.
TV and DVD player with 100 new movies (and old favorites).
The rooms are tastefully decorated incorporating local hardwoods and furniture from local craftsmen.

We are locaed just at the Towns edge in a tranquil new secure condo developement. Three minutes from the hub of activity, shopping and restaurants. There is parking on site , bus accessability and plenty of taxis available . The beautiful ocean is 17 mins away .Cenotes and ruins also close by.

We travelled around Mexico for 4 weeks and stayed in 3 self-catering houses during our trip. Marian and John's condo was the first of the 3 and we stayed there for 2 weeks.
We travelled with our 3 children aged 3,5 and 7. Our youngest has food allergies, so we prefer to stay in places where we can cook.
Having flown from London, we were very glad that John offered a service to pick us up in Cancun. This was extremely helpful as we were all very tired. John also drove us into town and helped us sort out car hire. We had a problem with the Internet which was also sorted out quickly
The condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a toilet downstairs. It was clean, practical and a good base for exploring the area. On the map it seemed that the condo was a bit closer to town and we were a little disappointed that we couldn't walk in to town. You really need to have a car. Cycling and taxis are a possibility too I suppose, but not with 3 small children. The main supermarkets are at the other end of town.
There is a small courtyard at the back but this has not yet been surfaced so it wasn't very useful to us apart from hanging our washing.
The condo is part of a new build. The whole area is under construction and we did experience minor noise from the building work. The condo is on a street of identical houses with a palapa and communal pool at the end. We liked that the street was a mix of people on holiday and mexicans living there permanently. The children loved the pool as it had a shallow end. Next door there is a playground but it was small and with a very hard surface underneath.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Tulum and found Marian and John to be very nice hosts. We would recommend the condo, but if you are looking for luxury, stay on the beach.
