We had a lovely time. The house is well-appointed and comfortable without being overly posh. I thought the beds on the beach were going to be my favorite part, but the whole house was equally charming. We brought a diverse group of friends, and our infant twins, and everyone had a wonderful time.
We were a little lazy about getting out of the house, and if that might be you, I recommend getting a private chef! -

We have had many, many trips to mexico - but none comes close to this. The house is a very large, 5 bedroom , 5 bathroom open plan design. It has a funky jungle feel to it, and fits in with its surroundings beautifully. We can easily see why the white sand beach here won trip advisors top 10 in the world award- its the best we've ever seen.
The clear blue water was out of a movie, and the beach is protected by a reef so the waves are great to play in. Next door is a 1.3 million acre nature reserve, so it has a very private and secluded feel. Walking the Tulum beach every morning became a ritual for us- no big hotels - just lots of funky little boutique hotels and great spots to stop for lunch , or a marguerita.
Dinner time would find us at one of the amazing local restaurants - our fav Hartwood - or cooking and dining at the house. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure, they were very helpful all the way through and had great recommendations. We will be back here for sure. -

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Casa Chic and already want to go back! The house is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the incredible stretch of beach that it sits on. The house is indulgently luxurious, yet feels authentically Mayan - very unique. It maintains local architecture and style, while still providing 'comforts from home.' We loved everything about it.
We have been to Mexico several times, and Tulum is by far our favorite destination. You simply can't beat the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Ocean and that soft white sand! We loved walking up and down the beach, exploring all the charming boutique hotels and restaurants.
If you are sick of all-inclusive's and are looking for some real character and beauty, this is the place to come. We ate incredible food, the weather was spectacular, we had peace and quiet, and truly, couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend Casa Chic and envy anyone who gets the chance to stay there! Enjoy! -

I had been to Mexico a few times before, but never Tulum. In places like Cancun you stay in hotels that are packed with people and beaches where it is always a challenge to find even a little bit of privacy. At Casa Chic you are given access to a beautiful property with amazing beach access!
The beach has crystal clear water and soft white sand that stretches out quite a ways, making it possible to walk 100 feet out and still be in only up to the waist. The property itself is situated near a park reserve so there are only a few other people on the beach in front of the house so there is more privacy for family and friends.
The house is beautifully decorated with an open living area format where the kitchen, dining area and lounge are all in the main area. This allows a cross brezze to cool the house during warm days.
Another great aspect of the home are the bedrooms. Each room has it's own bathroom and unique view with rolling glass doors with screens.
Lastly, the food available in Tulum is some of the best I have had on vacation. There is an endless selection of restaurants, bars, clubs, and shopping, all accessible without the overwhelming crowds of places like Cancun of Playa del Carmen.
I would definitely recommend Casa Chic to all my friends and family and hope to go back there myself one day! -

We spent two weeks at Casa Tulum -- the first with a group of extended family including small children and the second with a group of adult friends. Everyone -- from my mother to the babies -- loved Casa Tulum. The house is spacious and beautiful, and its location is just perfect. Situated on the beach towards Sian Kaan, it's removed from the chaos of Tulum but still close enough for an occasional night out. That is, if you can pull yourself away from the Casa.
