Tree house on top of a hill gives great views across Lake Taupo. Watch the weather roll in snuggled inside with the log burner cranked up. On better days throw open the doors to the large deck and enjoy a BBQ. Good access to surrounding activities in the area. Hotpools, kayaking and snow fields. Good sized rooms for up to two families but small kitchen which might be a drawback if you are a passionate cook.

WellingtonA very relaxing place to stay

Great service as usual. The house is very well suited for our family. Bunk beds for the little ones and separate rooms for the older one and us. Great views over the lake and surrounding bush reserve. Walking/running/biking tracks close by and hot pools 10 minutes down road by car. A very quiet location - no vehicle noise.

SydneyWonderful home for a holiday with perfect views of the lake.

Pukawa is a gorgeous spot to relax with the family and friends. I've stayed here as a young girl with my family when I was growing up and have continued to enjoy this special bay years later with friends.
The house is well situated to the beach with unforgettable views. Outdoor living is perfectly accommodated here with a full length balcony adjacent to the kitchen and living area.

Lovely warm comfortable house with fabulous deck facing the sun. All amenities well catered for and heats up quickly with a cosy fireplace. Everything you need except an Internet connection and poor cellphone coverage. Good for those who want to get away from it all though.

WellingtonComfortable and fantastic views
Left on 11/08/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Panorama is a comfortable holiday house with great views over the lake. The house has large sunny decks, a well equipped kitchen and a modern ensuite bathroom with a spa bath (and great views).
It's a steep climb up from the lake but that is probably a bonus in summer if you want peace and quiet. We stayed in September when there were very good value rates. -

A comfortable well equipped house, set in a beautiful tranquil location, with fabulous views of Lake Taupo from the deck. The Tokaanu Hotpools are 10 minutes drive away, and there is also a nice restaurant nearby. I would definately stay there again.

Aucklandgreat mid winter getaway

Booked pukawa bay for an extended weekend away in the middle of the NZ winter. Great view, warm and cosy house - the spa bath and log fire were definate bonuses. We had a great time and even when the weather was terrible in the local town the weather in the bay was generally nice and sunny. Right alongside lake Taupo and close to the central volcanic plateau and ski fields. Perfect for both the adventurous and relaxed types. Kirsty was very easy to deal with and would happily recommend the house to friends and family.

Dear Kirsty - just a note to say what a wonderful stay my family enjoyed at your lovely Bach. The view was awesome from the deck where we enjoyed the BBQ and few vinos. The kids had a ball being so close to the lake and all the facilities were 1st class - especially the TV!!!
Thanks

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in what has to be one of the most beautiful parts of the world!. The property is elevated and sunny with jaw dropping vast views across the lake. We loved its close proximity to the mountain and fantastic biking tracks. Highly recommended! we will be back.
