Mind-blowing and FABULOUS - the very best vacation EVER!

Villa Balinese is the most gorgeous place in the world. It was my mother\'s 70th birthday, my sister & I took her and her bff and we all had the vacation of our dreams. Marjorie met us and we hopped in our rental car, took off and headed to the villa. We had it all pre-stocked and just stayed together grilling and eating and laughing for 7 nights/8 days. It was the best vacation of our lives - we all said it over and over and over. The entire process was wonderful - from Tony to Marjorie to Vanessa & Chef Andre and finally Levine who cleaned our place - everyone fabulous and so sweet. LOVED IT. - Lisa R., ,

It was a 1st for us with Luxury Retreats and it won\'t be the last. From the first inquiry to the last confirmations, we had excellent service. Upon our arrival in Turks&Caicos we were welcome by Marjorie who directed us to the Villa and made the tour and she was available throughout our stay when we needed assistance. The villa itself was spectacular - perfect views, clean linens and great swimming pool. The only minor comments are regarding property maintenance (kitchen cabinets would need a good cleaning, oven doesn\'t work properly, BBQ was really hard to start, low water pressure and as a suggestion an outside dining table would be great). We went on this trip with three other couples. When we walked through the front door we all gasped at how absolutley gorgous the view was. Then we looked around the villa and had to pinch our selves that this was where we would actually be staying for the week! We had big plans to go to the beach and hangout, but when you have a pool and views like Villa Balinese offers, you won\'t want to leave. It\'s a house and with it comes some maintenance problems....but, it has a very attentive caretaker who did her best to address what didn\'t work and needed to be fixed in an immediate fashion. The hot tub had some heating issues. One heating coil had been replaced prior to our arrival. After our arrival, the second one needed to be replaced since the tub didn\'t heat up. Then a cover plate was replaced and the timer switch would get stuck, and the tub became overheated. It took several days, but eventually all got sorted out. The stove and oven didn\'t work properly. The exhaust hood for the Viking stove was installed backwards. Could not be remedied while we were there. The oven did not function properly as a conventional oven, but it worked better as a convection oven. It could not be remedied during stay. It did present a challenge for the chef prepared meal on Christmas day. The TV sound was not connected properly through the Bose system. We has and ABSOLUTLEY GREAT time. I had forgotten how beautiful and (warm) it is in Provo. We have been to Provo 5 times in the last 20 years and every time we go we find something new. The staff was on time and the quality was very good and professional in every way. The catered dinner was SPECTACULAR. Good food, good service and they cleaned up. All in all it was a delightful trip. I would like to mention however and few things that we noticed: 1. The bath tub in the master suite leaks badly. 2. The outside grill cannot be lit with the starter switch. You must take off all the grates and light it by had with matches and then replace the grates. This is not very safe. 3. The dishes are pretty much a mish-mash of a number of inexpensive sets. 4. Much of the cookware is worn out as we discovered as well as the caterers. Not a lot to work with for people that enjoy cooking in. 5. The cushions that go on the lounges by the pool were ripped. 6. The toaster did not work.
