      What a Wonderful Vacation

Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in January 2013

There is no perfect place to stay when visiting Turks and Caicos but if you are looking for the best place than stay at Turtle Cove marina. The location of the condo is excellent, it is few minutes from the beach, a very quiet one at that, and it is a few minutes from the best snorkelling spot on the entire island, Smith Reef. The marina itself has plenty of restaurants to choose from including the very popular Tiki Hut but if you just want to cook for yourself than the condo has everything you need to prepare a quick snack or a full family meal.

The condo is spacious, very clean, and has everything you need from fast internet to a great selection of snorkelling gear. The balcony is large enough for the whole family to eat out and the view is spectacular, you can see the sea and it also overlooks the beautiful apartment complex. The complex has a nice pool which you will often have to yourself and a well equipped gym.

The service from Malcolm was excellent, he provided lots of details of the local area, including the fact the only supermarket on the island is only a mile down the road and that there is a choice of car hire within walking distance (Bob's Scooters and avis). I travelled from the UK so I did not want to use my mobile to much so it was very pleasing that if I had a query I could email Malcolm and get a response within 30 minutes.

Overall I highly recommend visiting Turks and Caicos and advise anyone planning a trip there to stay at Malcolm's condo, you won't regret it.

      Wonderful vacation

Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in July 2012

A terrific home base for our beach vacation. Perfect size for our family of 3.
The condo was clean and well stocked. Easy to prepare lunches here daily. The views and breezes from the ocean were incredible. The patio was fantastic and we spent a lot of time out there in the afternoons. My three year old loved the pool and spent hours there each day.
The entire complex including the pool was very quiet and peaceful. I'm sure my daughter was the loudest one there. We usually had the pool to ourselves which was nice.
If travelling with children I would definitely recommend a car. Beach access wasn't quite as simple for us, so I'm glad we had our car- a four minute ride to the gorgeous beach. We enjoyed the offerings at the marina but also ate in the resort area and did some shopping further away as well.
Thank you Malcolm for making all aspects of the rental go nice and smoothly. We had a great time in Provo!

Great snorkeling nearby but needs an elevator

Left on 07/17/2012 for a stay in June 2012

The condo was nice, clean and had everything needed. Marina with some great restaurants and beach access within walking distance. We went to beaches all over the island for snorkeling and by far the best was the beach access (Smith's Reef West) near the condo. Malcolm the owner was very helpful and addressed any questions or issues immediately. Just note that if you are walking to closest beach access, the building is on a hill and the unit is a third floor walk up with no elevator. This can be a bit of a haul with snorkeling gear and beach equipment or groceries. Just need to rent a car at ScooterBob's in marina (terrific price and easy going) and it is no problem to get to the beach or to other places on the island. Good deal for the price.

      Fantastic property in beautiful location

Left on 03/22/2012 for a stay in December 2011

This apartment was everything we hoped it would be. Lots of space and very well equipped with everything you might need for your holiday in Paradise! Fabulous views over Grace Bay. Lovely patio for dining out under the stars or just with a nice long rum and coke. Excellent local restaurants, we particularly enjoyed the Magnolia restaurant with its gorgeous views over the marina. We also like Tikki Hut as their ribs are excellent. The Sharkbite bar is directly on the marina and great for sitting out on the deck with a sundowner. If you don't know, the beach here is renowned for being the best in the world and we loved snorkelling with turtles directly off the beach. A fantastic holiday, we will most definitely be back.

Thanks guys for the great review.

Tikki Hut is hard to beat with that chicken and rib deal on Weds night. We also like to sit out on the deck at Sharbite and watch the boats come into the marina as the sun sets...with a cold one!

Did you hear that Grace Bay was just voted the Best Beach in the World again for 2012 - we are extremely happy and proud about this!

Take care guys, and hope to see you back very soon - cheers, Malcolm

Thanks Malcolm for a really tremendous stay at your condo - the 4 of us had a brilliant vacation. We loved the fact that everything is right there, so no need to hire a car. We did hire some scooters one day though to explore the island a bit. There are loads of restaurants to choose from, and we tried a few. We really enjoyed the lobster at Bachi and the conch at Sharkbite.

The condo has everything you need, is very cosy, and the views from the balcony are spectacular. There is a fully equipped kitchen, so we cooked a bit too. There is also a dining table out on the deck, which was nice. We all had a great time in Provo, and definitely will come back to this condo - you can't beat the location!

Hi Sun Seeker - thank you for your generous review, and am delighted you all had a very enjoyable stay. The location really does have everything you need right there, but it's still fun to hire a bike or scooter to see a bit more of the island.

Look forward to your next visit with us - perhaps you might consider November when the Conch Festival is on - such a great, fun day for tourists and locals alike. I will send you the details.

Best regards, and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
      Cheers, Malcolm

Left on 03/15/2012 for a stay in October 2011

What a fantastic vacation my two sons and I had! Thank you so much Malcolm for providing such a great condo in a perfect location for us: walking distance to fantastic restaurants (so many to choose from!), bars, video rental for the boys and having Provo Turtle Divers right there was perfect for our scuba trips. Between the gorgeous pool and Grace Bay beach we all got great tans and relaxed - which is what we wanted to do! I love to cook so it was great that your kitchen was so well stocked with everything we needed - what a treat to eat out on the deck and watch the sunset - gorgeous!
Everyone we met while on the island was so nice - they all seemed (and rightly so!) so proud of the Turks & Caicos Islands and happy that we were there experiencing them for the first time. Thanks for making our stay special - we're putting our heads together to find a time to come back in 2012! Maybe during the Conch Festival?? I hear that is something not to be missed!

Hi Gotta Scuba - thanks for the tremendous review. You certainly picked a truly wonderful place to scuba. The Turks is the third biggest reef system in the world, so naturally is very popular with divers globally

Also glad you tried out some of the great restaurants in Turtle Cove, there is a large variety to cater to all palates and purses!
Can't wait to see you all back here soon. The Conch Fest is a really fun day for tourists and locals alike. It's at the end of November - I'll mail you the date. Take care and thanks again, Malcolm

Left on 03/14/2012 for a stay in January 2012

The four of us had a fantastic vacation at this condo in January. It was all our first time to the Turks and Caicos islands and we will most definitely return! The location of the condo could not be any better - there are plenty of restaurants and bars all within a 5 min walk. We loved the chicken & ribs at Tikki Hut, and the cracked conch at Sharkbite. Generally, all the meals we had out were great. There is a big variety too, so we stayed right in Turtle Cove - no need to hire a car.
We all love to scuba dive and fish which was also right there at the marina!

The condo is really comfortable and had everything that we needed. The views from the balcony are amazing. The pool is very nice to lay out but mainly we walked to Grace Bay beach, which is the best beach on the planet for a reason!

Thanks Malcolm for a special vacation, and we will see you perhaps later this year, or next for sure.

"Myself, my wife and our teenage daughter had a brilliant holiday at this condo in Turtle Cove. It was our first time to the Turks and Caicos Islands, so we were so pleased to have stayed in this location. There is a large marina opposite, with some great places to eat and drink. We had the Weds special of chicken and ribs at Tikki Hut, which we would recommend. Bachi had great pasta dishes and delicious lobster. Mainly we eat in the condo, but mixed it up a bit. We tried Conch for the first time, and all loved it. The apt is modern, well equipped and has everything you need, and the views from the balcony are stunning! We spent most of the time at the beach - the best we have ever seen! The water is really turquoise, it has to be seen to be believed. We will definitely come back, hopefully next year."

Sounds like you enjoyed all the local amenities, including some of our favorites. Isn't Conch delicious, and very healthy too.
