Villa Franca is 550 square metres and is located on an enclosed reserve of 1000 hectares at 500 metres above sea level. The villa was a monastery transformed into a hunting lodge. There is abundant wildlife located nearby with different deer species, wild boar, pheasants, mountain goats, rabbits, hare and many wild birds. There is no pool here but near the Monastery there is a massive lake of uncommon beauty,which during the summer months, allows bathing from a floating platform sun-deck, equipped with deck-chairs and a beach umbrella with an adjacent changing hut and pontoon where you can fish, swim and relax in the sun for hours enjoying th...e unspoilt 360 degree views. A heliport allows the landing and the take off of any type of helicopter. There are 8 bedrooms for a total of 15 people. There are 5 twin bedrooms, 2 matrimonial bedrooms and another bedroom with a single sofa bed. All twin bedrooms can be made into doubles. All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom and all bathrooms have a hairdryer. In the kitchen microwave, meat slicer, 2 ovens, dishwasher, american coffee machine, large fridge/freezer. There are many comfortable sitting and living areas with lots of lounges and hunting memorabilia. There is a large dining table that extends to seat 18 persons. The villa has a TV and DVD player and also sateliite TV though the non paid version. There are a couple of english channels, some german and italian stations. There is a telephone in the villa and local calls are free . We advise renters to purchase a phone card to be able to make long distance and international phone calls. There is a very large internal courtyard featuring the old well. There is a large table located here, wonderful for dinner and enjoying lunches in the sunshine.
