Sleeping up to 10 people, this spacious Twain Harte Vacation Rental Cabin in Twain Harte, CA has two rooms each with one queen bed, and two rooms with two twin beds each. We'll provide the blankets and pillows, but please be sure to bring your own sheets, pillow cases, soap/shampoo and towels to use when you hop out of one of the two bathrooms with standing showers. One of which is in the basement, off the complementary laundry room. Just think of all the warm towels right out of the dryer! Note: We do not have a bathtub in the vacation rental cabin.

Should you decide to stay in for the night, the main living room is equipped with a lar...ge TV that includes cable television, a VCR and DVD player. The upstairs is also equipped with a TV and cable. There is a phone with free local calling (long distance you pay for).

Keep warm in front of the beautiful fireplace or use the central heating to get the cabin nice and cozy for those gorgeous Twain Harte snowy winter days and nights.

The kitchen is complete with all cooking utensils, silverware, plates, toaster, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave oven, blender, garbage disposal, high chair and soap. Just bring your own food to cook on the gas stove or use the barbeque we have out on the spacious deck. There is also plenty of patio furniture on the deck surrounded by sunshine.

Should you need to do any laundry the vacation rental cabin has a washer and dryer in the basement, available free of charge.

There is also a very spacious driveway to park all your cars; it can accommodate at least 6 midsize cars or SUVs.

Nearby Attractions

You’ll be situated near many attractions, beginning with a short walk to the private Twain Harte Lake, with great views of Tuolumne County. The Twain Harte Lake is a great place to relax in the sand or cool off with a swim; you can play ping pong, volleyball, shuffleboard, or participate in special evenings of bingo. Try a bite to eat at the snack shack. It’s delicious!

There is also a miniature golf course a walk away, a 9-hole standard course, and a park which hosts free concerts and movies on summer weekends.

For adventures outside of Twain Harte, visit the neighboring town of Sonora, full of great restaurants and a lively downtown. To the South you’ll find Black Oak Casino, home to all your favorite games of chance and skill, as well as a great family fun center downstairs, or there’s Jackson Rancheria, about 60 miles from the cabin.

Drive to Columbia State Park and pan for gold, take an old-fashioned picture, or buy some sweet homemade candy. Near Columbia is Railtown, where you can take a ride on an old steam train. There is also the Moaning Caverns close by, where you can repel into glistening gem stoned lined caves.

If water is more your thing, there are plenty of lakes in the area for fishing, boating, or swimming; including Pinecrest Lake, only 30 minutes from Twain Harte, and during the summer months, hosts evening outdoor movies. Other fine lakes in the area include New Melones Lake, Lake Tulloch, and Lake Don Pedro.

If you’d like to spend time hiking, the inspirational Yosemite National Park is just 2 hours away! Columbia College, which frequently puts on plays, is also in Tuolumne County, as are other fun activities for the whole family, like Whitewater Rafting.

Stay here in the winter and you’re just a short drive from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, also called Dodge Ridge Ski Area, where you can spend the day skiing or snowboarding. While it does snow at cabin level, there are great hills and trails close by, where you can go snow-mobiling, cross country skiing, or sledding. And of course, there’s always the option of seeing a movie in Sonora, CA.

  My friends and I have a wonderful time in Twain Harte. We rented a cabin from Fun Cabin Rentals. Our cabin was ready on time, clean, and plenty of room for all of us. Close to town so we didn't have far to drive for dinner and the grocery store. We were very comfortable and felt right at home once we got there. Kitchen equiped with everything for us to make meals. I would recommend this cabin to everybody. Also,it was very affordable.

  Our stay here was wonderful! The cabin is perfectly located, walking distance from the lake. The kitchen is well stocked and the cabin feels very cozy. The owners kept in touch throughout, even responded to our silly questions within minutes! The only down-side was that the second bathroom was difficult to get to, since in order to get to the basement you have to go outside (not something you want to do on a winter evening), and one of the bedrooms only had access through another bedroom (compromising privacy). There was more than ample space (huge living room) and plenty of bedrooms. We will definitely be coming back!

  nice clean cabin with well stocked kitchen. Kids had a blast at the Twain Harte lake and loved the pee wee / mini golf course. We loved that both were walking distance to cabin. We will def be back to this cabin next year.

  I had a really fun time at this cabin. I was suprised there was so much to do nearby and in the evening we could just come back to this cabin and chill on the deck. There was more than enough room for everybody and we had 7 people there. I would definitely recommend this place.

  My friends and I have been going to this same cabin for years. The owners are friendly and really easy to work with; they always answer the phone and return emails. We especially enjoy going during the snowy season - snow on the cabin is a wonderful sight to see and Dodge Ridge is only 22 miles away. It's a great rustic cabin, and an excellent value for the money.
