Beautiful 2400 sq' Cape Cod home on 3.5 acres with 350' of Lake Superior shoreline and 400' of Silver Creek shore. The home has a panoramic view of the Great Lake that is absolutely breathtaking. You can easily walk down the hill right to the beach. It is also within walking distance to the Superior Hiking Trail, adjacent to a designated trout stream, and has easy access to snowmobile trails. There is plenty of room for family and friends to spend a quick weekend getaway or enjoy a long week together.

Our family has stayed here many times and we were disappointed that the kitchen was dirty when we arrived, the upstairs toilet broke, and that there was no emergency packet with flashlights/candles when the electricity went out. However, the house is a great place for a family to hideout and enjoy the lake (even during a Lake Superior gale). We like to bring our kayaks and the beach is a great place for us to launch them and a geat place for the kids to play. My only suggestion is that the kitchen (especially the stove and microwave) and bathrooms are cleaner. I think we may have left the house cleaner than when we arrived.

We certainly will return. My wife and I took our son and his fiancee who has not seen much of Minnesota for the Labor Day Weekend,. Very roomy for the four of us. I do not remember any issues other than some rainy weather.
One thing would be check regarding campfire wood on site. we had to buy at a convienence store. Would likely take all our extended family for another stay. -

Enjoyed the lake views - very comfortable setting. Weather was fantastic and the fall colors had just started.
