Anchorage, akAwsome place

The overall experience was excellent. The unit was clean and comfortable. The beach view and access was great. The island was a great place to spend a few days. My 11 year old daughter loved getting up in the morning and hunting for shells on the beach. The only issue we had was that if you used the master bath shower it leaked downstairs in the kitchen. It is a three bath unit so we just used the shower in another bathroom and reported it. I would guess it will be addressed and fixed soon. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The property is well-maintained and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Check-in and out was a breeze and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again! The ocean views were glorious--watching the sunrise each morning from the master bedroom deck was spectacular. The only thing I would change would be to trim plantings on the ocean side to provide an even better view from the living room!

Great condo except for two things. The balcony on main floor view was obstructed by palm trees so you could only see ocean by going to balcony off master bedroom. Also there are not enough towels allocated to a condo this large. We were washing towels twice a day because every one took shower after a swim and in the morning. All in all a great place to stay , clean, secure and convenient. If you have an elderly person be forewarned there are lots and lots of steps.

Lexington, KYGreat condo on a great island
Left on 07/11/2012 for a stay in June 2012
The condo was well equiped and well located on the island. Just a short walk to the beach. The private garage and door with an opener was really nice. So was the wifi and TVs in each room. My only quibble was the view from the first floor was of the sand dunes, not the ocean. Also, the air conditioning units were directly under the main floor balcony, which made the balcony extra hot. In defense, most of the unit we saw were the same. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved it!!! The condo was beautifully decorated and the view was amazing. Pool was great for the kids after they were done with the beach. Glad to have the enclosed parking and area to keep all our pool/beach stuff. We plan to visit this house again!

GeorgiaNice Rental; Small Island
Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in May 2011
This location was nice. The beach was close, the pool was close. No complaints with the property. However, the listing read "elevator." There is no elevator. The double car garage is for double end to end-- if you drive an Obama car... very narrow! The extra space outside is very difficult to park in and you risk getting your oversized (van or SUV) smacked with the next car door. You need a code to work the gate to get back into your property after using the pool (we got lucky and had the next-door service guy give us the code. And you need yet another code for the second gate to the pool.(The pools are very small, too.) We called the rental desk and they knew nothing of these codes... but you do need codes. Overall the island is narrow- full of narrow streets, small restaurants, small tables, and a pitiful little grocery store with again difficult parking. We drove 8 miles away to Publix- much bigger for our supplies.
With 6 children under 10 years, we found this property comfortable and reasonably large enough. There weren't too many decorations for our 18 mo. old to break. Probably will not go to this island again.Response from Tybee Vacation Rentals - 06/15/2011
Manager
Thank you for your feedback. Tybee Island is a very small island, only 3.5 miles long by 1.5 miles wide. While not for everyone the small size but close proximity to Savannah lends itself to a unique experience. Since the island is on the smaller size some things, such as the pools at this community are not as large as you might find at other destinations. What they lack in pool size is made up for in the great beachfront location, beautiful sunrise views, and tasty on-site restaurant. We're sorry for the confusion on the gate codes and for the error on the listing. There is no elevator at this town home. This has now been corrected and we are very appreciative that you brought this to our attention.

The atlantic Ocean #2 Condo was as advertised, clean, nice decks, great ocean views, well furnished and very comfortable. My wife and I and two of her sisters with one spouse all had plenty of privacy and lots of room to sit on the decks together. We were right on the beach and enjoyed the beach and the sun and sand. Checking in and out was very smooth. A great stay and I would highly recommend this one.
